"Who taught you how to cook? this is so delicious!"
"Oh thank you, ma'am, I just learned it on my own it's nothing special,"
"Told you already call me mom, not ma'am," Eunkyung insisted as she pushed San's arm lightly, "And give yourself some credit for your talents, Nabi, for example, can't cook to save a life!"
"Oh trust me I know." The man giggled along with the woman.
"You ate her food and you're still dating?" her question only made the man laugh even more,
"I'm glad you have many things in common guys! for example, loving to make fun of me!" the girl exclaimed from the kitchen, grumpily.
"Oh Nabi don't be a baby," her mother joked.
"Do you hear this? She claimed she visited because of me but after San came they've been talking nonstop paying me no attention!" The girl whined as she turned to her brother only to find him gone, "Jungwoo?" And then his laughter was heard from the dining room as well. Nabi scoffed as she grabbed the water jar she came to the kitchen for, and enjoyed the others. The girl pushed her brother off of a chair and took a seat next to her 'boyfriend'.
"Couldn't you sit somewhere else?!"
"I want to sit next to my boyfriend," Nabi answered nonchalantly, causing San to smirk.
"She just wants to be around me all the time!" San tried his best to say it as seriously as he could as he grabbed the girl's hand gently. It felt like fighting in a battle for Nabi to not roll her eyes at his behavior.
"Ew...Stop being clingy" The youngest had his upper lip raised, clearly disgusted at the couple.
"Jungwoo! Leave them alone, they're so cute!"
"That's a weird way of saying sickening mom but I agree!" Eunkyung only scoffed at him as a reply before looking back at the two with hearteyes.
"So how and when did you start dating? I'm dying to know everything!"
"Oh.." Nabi's eyes slightly widened, not expecting the question and consequently not having the answer to it. "That's a great question, Mom! Sannie tell her!"
"Me?"
"Yep babe, I love how you tell our love story!"
"Is that so?" San threw a fake smile at his neighbor before turning to her mother, "Well, As soon as I moved in she was really quick to introduce herself to me!" He giggled causing the girl next to him to let out a quiet scoff, "She offered me some help with moving in, her kindness was the first thing I fell in love with"
"Kindness? Are we talking about the same Nabi?" the girl threw a chip at her brother to shut him up as San continued.
"She was such a great neighbor, always inviting me to dinner to get to know me better, never being loud, and so on so I knew how lucky I got with her" His speech almost made Nabi believe him as well before she remembered she was the complete opposite and her annoying neighbor was mocking her.
"You forgot the part when you were always so nice to me babe!" She quickly added, not forgetting to throw him the same fake smile he did earlier, "He was so sweet and polite all the time that I immediately knew I wanted to get closer to this guy!"
"Aw, nothing compares to young love!"
"I wouldn't really call them young though..." Jungwoo muttered causing his sister to scoff at him.
"Just because you're practically an embryo doesn't mean that we're old!"
"Anyway," Eunkyung threw a stern glare at the siblings before turning back to her daughter's boyfriend with a sweet smile, "San do you have any siblings dear?"
