Loud music echoed in Nabi's ears, Jongho's band was playing a beautiful melody as the red-haired boy sang along with it. the dance floor was crowded. From a distance, she could hear Soojin and Seonghwa laughing at something together as they danced. the girl smiled at her friends, happy that the ceremony went well.
"Stop staring, you look creepy," San said as he leaned on the wall next to the girl, making her scoff at him.
"I do not, I just like seeing my friends be happy, that's all." the man grinned at his neighbor while slightly shaking his head.
"Let's dance!" The girl suggested.
"No, thank you."
Did you forget that we're supposed to look like we're dating? look around all the couples are dancing!" the girl whined as she pointed at the dance floor.
"My leg hurts."
"No, it doesn't?"
"How would you know that?"
"It doesn't hurt yet, but it surely will soon if you don't dance with me." Nabi threatened, furrowing her brows, making San scoff at her words.
"Are you trying to look scary right now? cause you kind of remind me of an angry squirrel."
"MY DEAR BROTHER IN LAW!" Jungwoo's loud voice interrupted their bickering as he threw his arm around the black-haired man's shoulder.
"Somebody throw me out of the window please," Nabi muttered nonchalantly, already annoyed with her little brother.
"Woah your shoulders are so wide!" the youngest continued with widened eyes.
"Let him go, you weirdo!" Nabi chided her brother before hitting his arm off San.
"Don't be jealous sis, he's all yours!" Jungwoo answered causing his sister to roll her eyes while her neighbor snorted. "Mom was looking for you guys earlier, has she found you?"
"Nope."
"Wait, she's there!" He said before waving in the woman's direction catching her attention. Nabi sighed as she turned to San, mouthing 'Get ready,' He was confused for a second before the woman approached them and immediately embraced him tightly.
"I missed you too Mom!" Nabi said with obvious sarcasm, pouting while looking at her mom hugging a stranger before her.
"Stop pouting, I just saw you last week." She replied and broke the hug before adding, "I'm Eunkyung, But you should call me Mom!" Jungwoo snorted at the scene in front of him.
"Nabi Let's make a bet on how fast Mom will scare your boyfriend away." He whispered to the girl, causing her to bite her lower lip to avoid laughing.
"oh my, What a handsome, young man!"
"Mom can you let go of his cheeks, You're being weird!"
"No Nabi, It's okay" San answered and smiled back at the woman earning a scoff from Nabi.
"Where did you two meet each other? how long have you been together? I want to know everything!"
