"why not? we're neighbors we should help each other out don't you think?" she said as she lifted one of the boxes to follow him inside.
"Repeat that we're neighbors once more, I don't think I got it the first 1...
"I know I'm asking for a lot but I promise I won't stay in debt! You'll need a fake girlfriend as well one day and guess what? you won't have to look for one because I'll help you willingly!"
"I doubt that's a situation I'll end up in," San stated nonchalantly.
"Stop being grumpy okay? it's not even my fault my mom found out about you, it's Jungwoo's fault so if you want to blame anyone blame him!"
"Why can't you just tell her that we're not actually together?"
"Because. She found out Jeno's back in my life and is willing to get together so if I tell her I don't actually have a boyfriend she won't stop bugging me until she convinces me to go back together with him." Nabi answered while pouting.
"Doesn't she know how he treated you?"
"Bro she doesn't believe me only because he acts like a fucking angel around her!"
"Tell Soojin to uninvite her from the wedding so we won't have to fake anything!" he offered while fake smiling.
"Okay, I get it. You're scared that she won't like you and accept you, especially after Jeno raised her standards so high." Nabi said, acting as sincere as she could.
"Oh please. Moms love me."
"yeah, yeah sure."
"I'm being so real. your mom will like me so much she will forget all of your exes!"
"Unfortunately, I doubt that."
"Okay, fine. I'll be your fake boyfriend at Soojin's wedding and you'll see it yourself." He said while crossing his arms making the girl grin.
"Should we wear matching clothes?" She asked excitedly.
"Yeah no."
"Oh c'monnnn it'll be so cute!"
"get out I'm sleepy and I have work tomorrow."
"It's not even that late."
"Maybe it's not late enough to sleep but it surely is late enough to keep up with your annoying ass."
"That's a strange way of saying that you love me?" the girl joked and smirked.
"Okay, fine," San said and approached the girl causing her smirk to fade before grabbing both sides of her waist, picking her up, and throwing her body on his shoulder. And as if he wasn't carrying a whole ass human, he casually began walking towards her apartment.
"This is not fair!"
"Shut it before I drop you."
The girl stayed silent after that, giving her apartment keys to her neighbor so she could open the door which he did, and walked inside dropping her on the couch.
"Why are you pouting?"
"You're so mean." She answered making him snort.
"Deal with it, girlfriend." Nabi wished she could wipe the smirk off his face.
After that, he returned to his apartment leaving the girl alone in hers. She knew it was the best idea to go to sleep and actually get a decent amount of sleep for once but instead, she took her phone and opened her friends' group chat.
