Nabi adored December. Snow, Christmas, New Year's Eve, there were just too many exciting things happening in just a month, however, there was something she deeply loathed with all her heart, frozen roads.

As the girl was walking home from the bus stop she couldn't help but get angry at the choices she had made that morning while picking out her outfit. Although she looked really pretty in her black-heeled boots it almost felt like she had ice skates on.

"It's okay Nabi you won't fall,"  the girl was highly concentrated on taking small and careful steps before her phone rang, She answered without even looking at the caller.

"Hello?"

"When are you finishing work?" San asked.

"I already did,"

"Why didn't you call me?"

"Was I supposed to?"

"You always do, to get me to pick you up and you chose not to on the day when it's freezing and snowing outside?"

"Yeah, Because it's snowing outside, I thought it would be a good idea to take a walk..."

The man sighed, "At least be careful, roads are frozen,"

"Of course I'm careful-" the girl was saying before her feet slipped suddenly causing her to fall backward, hitting her head on the ice.

 "ouch."

"What happened?" San asked with a worried tone.

"It's all your fault, I was so careful before you called," Nabi answered as she rubbed her head gently, hissing in pain.

"Where are you?"

She was just a few minutes away from her apartment so San got to her pretty quickly only to find her lying on the ground with her mouth open.

"Did you hit your head that hard?"

"I'm just eating snow," San snorted at her answer as he approached the lying girl and crouched down beside her.

"How are you feeling? can you stand up?"

"Well...My head is spinning."

"Let's go to the hospital, I'll help you up."

"Is that really necessary? I'm kind of hungry..."

"Nabi."

"Okay, fine fine." She replied grumpily.

"I can't believe this, I'm dying." The girl whined, lying in the back seat of San's car as he drove both of them back home from the hospital.

"The doctor said it's just a mild concussion, I think you'll survive."

"You don't understand how serious this is, I even lost my appetite that's how much my head hurts!"

"Keep wearing those pretty heels in the winter and you'll eventually get used to it!"

"This is so not funny." San only bit his lip to avoid laughing at the injured girl even more.

Soon enough they arrived at the apartment's parking lot making the girl groan.

"There's no way I'm raising my head off this seat." She stated while covering her eyes with her arm.
