Nabi was still in bed, despite it being already noon, her head aching so bad it felt like her brain couldn't fit in her head. 'I mean I am pretty smart so that can be a possibility.'

The hangover is a real pain in the ass, what can I say. not being able to sleep, she was thinking about how she would spend the whole day in her bed, thanking god it was Sunday, but her dreams came crashing down as soon as she heard loud noises outside of her apartment.

'I will throw myself out of the window. fuck, I live on the second floor.' was her first thought soon followed by 'It'll probably stop soon it's okay!' spoiler alert: it didn't.

To say that the girl was pissed off would be an understatement. Nabi is not an aggressive person, at least that's what she likes to think, (however, I believe the majority of her friends disagree) but waking her up when she's so much in need of sleep should be considered a crime.

Covering herself with a rumpled robe, the sleep-deprived girl opened the door, ready to fight someone only to see nobody outside, only some boxes. lots of boxes actually. 'no way I'm getting a new neighbor' the girl thought as her anger changed into excitement. she rushed back into her apartment, running to the bathroom to clean herself up.

She quickly showered, did her morning routine, and wore nicer clothes. They weren't ironed either but oh well! who irons their clothes nowadays anyway!(don't answer that)

she swallowed a painkiller and checked herself in the mirror for the last time before she opened the door with the biggest smile she could master in that situation and walked out of her apartment, only to see a very handsome, black-haired man crouched at one of the boxes looking for something in it.

he was wearing a black tank top(that did a great job in showing off his muscles) and black plain cargo pants. not anything special but at least it looked ironed! 'I bet he owns an iron that we can share, how cute!' Nabi thought, feeding her delusions.

"Hi neighbor!" she said smirking as she approached the man.

"hi," he answered. dull enough.

"I live right there," she said pointing at her door "We'll be neighbors from now on," she said as she sat on one of the boxes.

"you're sitting on the fragile items' box," he said with the same bored expression.

The girl let out an "oh" as she jumped up "Sorry," she laughed nervously.

the black-haired boy stood up, grabbing the opened box to bring it inside before Nabi blocked his way "I can help you!"

"no thanks,"

"why not? we're neighbors we should help each other out don't you think?" she said as she lifted one of the boxes to follow him inside.

"Repeat that we're neighbors once more, I don't think I got it the first 17 times."

"Oh feisty one, I like it," she smirked as he sighed.

"what are you a high school fuck boy?" he said causing her to scoff "Did you wake up on the wrong side of the bed or what I'm just trying to help!" he kept on staring at her with an unchanged expression causing her to roll her eyes "Okay, fine, I kinda want to find out if your apartment is better than mine as well but so what?! don't act like you're not curious about the same thing!"

"I'm dying of curiosity can't you see?" he said with a touch of obvious sarcasm in his tone.

"well good for you then 'cause I'll invite you in at my place any time you want and even offer you a snack," she said winking. She was joking obviously. (she wasn't)

When the girl did not get the reaction she was hoping for from the boy she continued "At least tell me your name,"

"no thanks, I'm good," he said as he finally went in the girl following her closely behind as they both put down the boxes on the living room floor at the same time.

"no offense, but my place is so much bigger," she said as she looked around.

"and still you cannot fit yourself in it and are here somehow," he said with a fake smile as he crossed his arms making her scoff once again.

"Tell me your name and I'll consider leaving."

"or I have a better idea! how about I throw you out?"

"you wouldn't do that you look like a gentleman," she said as she crossed her arms as well copying the handsome man in front of her.

"What makes you think that," he asked, raising his eyebrow.

"you're wearing glasses," she said seriously and sat on the couch as she got tired from standing, causing him to roll his eyes.

"I cannot tell if you're insane or just annoying,"

"no I'm Nabi actually." she said smirking "And your name?"

"give up already."

"I can just call you mine instead."

"San. It's San."

"what a pretty name," She said with a grin.

San sighed as he walked out to bring in another box. As he turn around he bumped into his neighbor once again "You're in my way."

"Are you always this serious or only on Sundays because Monday is about to come and you're sad about it,"

"more like only when a loud annoying neighbor is putting her nose in my business," he said as he pulled the girl aside with one hand, holding the box with the other, and walked back inside.

"rude. but lucky for you I can put up with such attitudes very easily!" she said following him behind.

"That was the last box," he said and put it down.

"cool?"

"you can leave now, the work is done is what I meant. not like you did anything but still," he said and grabbed his phone from the coffee table as he started texting someone.

"oh what a great time I was looking for your phone as well actually." she said causing him to look at her with furrowed brows. "give it to me I'll give you my number," she said as she extended her hand towards him causing him to scoff.

"I don't have any storage left."

"phone numbers don't take up any space"

"is that so?" he asked acting shocked for a second before he walked towards the open door, waiting for the girl to leave to close it.

"Okay you're playing hard to get I get it!" she said and walked out of the door only to turn around again "Fortunately for you I'm very patient," she said smirking before he slammed the door shut right in her face.

'you're lucky you are hot, annoying jerk...'
