The Friday evening finally arrived. The week went as usual, It was exhausting. It's not like Nabi didn't like her job, if anything it was the complete opposite. She worked as a wedding planner, which gave her the opportunity to always work in different circumstances, have contact with all kinds of people and consequently never really got bored, however, one thing was undoubtable, it was a very tiring job, especially when she had to work with impudent clients and you would be shocked to find out how often she had such occurrences.
As the worn-out girl was walking up the stairs, cursing the fact that she lives on the top floor(the building only has 4 stores but she was tired, leave her alone.) she heard a car engine stop at the building's parking lot. Nabi immediately thought of her neighbor, whom she hadn't really interacted with for the past few days. It's not like she didn't want to, she just always came back really tired from work and didn't quite have any energy left to do anything, but go to sleep.
When she finally reached the top floor, the girl took a seat at the last stair leaning her head on the railing, as she waited for the boy. after a couple of seconds, San reached the top floor as well seeing the girl sitting on the stairs, smiling at him.
"You missed me haven't you?" she asked as she stood up, dusting down her pants.
The boy raised his eyebrow at her question. "You're such an observative person, I'm impressed," he said as he walked past her, towards his door.
The girl followed him as usual as she let out a forced sigh. "I'm so drained and hungry," she said, pouting.
"That's tough," he said, glancing at her before he reached the door unlocking it.
"let's think straight right? You're tired and I'm tired so not to waste more energy than necessary you should cook for me," she said making the man snort.
"You're so smart, how didn't I come up with that?" he asked as he looked at the girl smiling causing the girl to widen her eyes.
"Are you for real?"
"No."
"Oh c'mon pleasee" the girl whined, causing San to roll his eyes at her.
"You're so annoying," he said and opened the door, leaving the door open as he walked inside, making the girl smile.
"where's the bathroom I'll wash my hands and help you," she asked as she took off her jacket and put her purse down. San pointed at the door before he entered another room, which Nabi assumed was his bedroom.
After San changed into more comfortable clothes and washed his hands in the bathroom he finally came to the kitchen where the girl was waiting patiently as she was on her phone, looking up as soon as he walked in.
"yes you're very handsome in a suit but I got to admit I like you the best in home clothes," she said as she put her phone down on the counter without looking away from the boy, smirking.
San couldn't help but redden a little at the girl's comment, swiftly turning around to hide it as he opened the fridge and started gathering the ingredients.
Not noticing his reaction Nabi approached him, also looking in the fridge as she asked "What are we cooking?"
"You-nothing. go sit back in your seat," he said as he grabbed mushrooms and other ingredients. The girl did as she was told, smirking to herself as she looked at her neighbor. "you're so cute when you're bossy."
San let out a sigh, closing his eyes as he threw his head back. " you can go watch TV, this will take a while."
"No I prefer watching you." she said as she winked only to get a stern look from the boy. "okay, fine," she said, sighing as she stood up from her seat and went to the living room.
after grabbing the remote and sitting comfortably on the couch she started looking for something to watch, and After a while, she finally came across a movie she liked.
San's POV
It only took San half an hour to finish cooking. Being proud of the dish he made, he started setting the table. after making sure he didn't forget anything he called out for Nabi but got no answer in return so he decided to check on the girl only to find her asleep on the couch.
San stepped closer, looking at the girl, contemplating whether to wake her up or not. she looked so peaceful and quiet, which was a very unique sight. San snorted at his own thoughts.
He grabbed the blanket from his room and covered Nabi with it before turning off the TV. He went back to the kitchen as he sat at the table and started eating when his phone lit up 'Yeosang' the caller said.
"Hello?"
"San me and Wooyoung are staying at yours tonight"
"What?"
"Oh, I forgot to ask can me and Wooyoung stay at yours tonight?"
"Why? did anything happen?"
"I'll explain everything later, see ya"
"Wait Wait I actually have a guest.."
"guest? do you know what time it is? who is it?"
"My neighbor"
"Nabi? What is she doing there I thought you hated her?"
"Ugh, whatever just come quick."
San said as he hung up the phone. after finishing his meal he packed some for the girl and put it on the coffee table in front of the couch she was sleeping before shaking her lightly.
"Nabi, wake up" the girl was not responding, making the boy groan before shaking her a little bit harder, Which finally aroused the sleepy girl.
"Oh, did I fall asleep?"
"yea I could hear your snores from the kitchen," the boy said as her eyes widened.
"you're kidding, right?" she asked causing the man to shrug. he was kidding but didn't plan on telling her.
"Get up my friends are coming and I don't want them to see you here."
"What about my food? please tell me you didn't eat it all" she whined as the man smiled "I didn't, I packed it for you." he said before he heard the doorbell.
"I think your friends arrived."
