"Are you leaving already?" Mingi asked the girl, as he entered her office and noticed she was already packing.
"What do you mean already it's 6 PM," She answered grumpily as she continued to look for her folder which seemed to get lost in all the papers that were thrown messily all over the desk.
"You know, cleaning your desk once a month won't break you a hand."
"You know, my hand won't be the one breaking if you don't shut the fuck up." The girl replied with a sarcastic grin causing the male to pout.
"You're so mean for no reason who made you mad this time?"
"No one I just haven't eaten yet." Mingi nodded his head, knowing how the girl always turned grumpy when she was hungry.
"Well I don't have food to give you but I have information that you might find interesting." The pink-haired man said while smirking mischievously. The girl's ears immediately perked up at his words.
"who, where, when, with whom?"
"Jiwoo, in the bathrooms, at lunchtime, with Minho," Mingi added, grinning at the girl's shocked expression.
"No fucking way?!"
"I know right."
"But I was so convinced Minho was bitchless-"
"Excuse me?"
"Oh hi, Minho!" The girl, smiling nervously, waved at the man who just entered her office with crossed arms.
"Don't you two have anything better to talk about than my hookups?"
"Not really,"
"No," both Mingi and Nabi answered simultaneously causing the oldest to roll his eyes at the duo.
"No, but I was so bored with no office rumors the whole day, why didn't anyone tell me this sooner?" The girl whined.
"Maybe they expected you to have a life, But don't worry after this they'll know better!" Minho answered, smirking causing the girl to scoff. "and by the way, the folder, which you have been looking for for the past half an hour, is on the floor." The girl's eyes widened as she looked down and spotted what she was searching for.
"Oh, you were searching for that?" Mingi asked cluelessly causing the girl to throw him a death glare. Noticing this, Mingi let out a nervous chuckle, "And I think it's time for me to leave, bye friends!" He said as he walked out, more like he ran out before Nabi would throw something at him.
"Aren't you going to ask me why I visited you?"
"To annoy me? as usual?"
"Pfft." The male acted offended as he placed a hand on his chest, "Me? Annoying you?" his upset expression changed into a smirk as he added, "Nope, not this time."
"What is it then?"
"Some man is outside, waiting for you."
"Is it San?" The girl answered, feeling excited at the thought.
"Who?"
"Oh you don't know who San is, right." She quickly grabbed her coat and the bag and rushed out of her office. but her happy expression immediately changed into a disappointed one when she saw Jeno waiting for her instead.
"What are you doing here?" She asked as she walked closer grabbing his attention.
"I'm here to talk,"
"How do you even know I work here?"
"Oh, Jungwoo told me," What an annoying creature her brother was. "let's go I will drive you home." The girl hesitated for a second but still ended up following him.
The drive was silent and awkward for a few minutes before Jeno started talking.
"You might, think I'm pathetic for still chasing after you after all these years,"
"No, that's not-"
"Not to mention what you did to me, I mean anyone else would probably not even give you another second of their lives." Nabi didn't really know how to answer to that, so she just stared ahead at the road not saying anything, so Jeno continued.
"I understand you're in a relationship but I think we can stay friends, can we not?" yeah, entering this car was a big mistake. "After all we've been through so much together it would be a shame to throw it all away, I mean you already did throw it away but as I said I'm willing to give you another chance."
"You're right." While looking at the road, Nabi stated, " I think you're pathetic."
"Excuse me?!"
"Listening to you now has got me thinking about how I fell for your lies and manipulation back then. Because all your tries to get me back into that shitty relationship we once had is just pathetic, really." the car stopped harshly at the parking lot in front of the girl's house. Nabi tried to open the door but before she reached the handle Jeno locked it.
"Let me out."
"I understand you are incapable of having a serious talk for a minute straight like a five-year-old kid Nabi, but you won't get to run away from this conversation, not again." the girl scoffed out loud but before she could say anything Jeno continued, "How long have you and San been going out? a week? I bet you're capable of being in a stable relationship for longer than that. after all, you do love whoring around and can't stay in place. Do You really think he will be able to stand being with you like I did?" he let out a bitter laugh, "I think the only person you should be spending your time with right now is a therapist Nabi. you're an unstable, crazy bitch. Get this through your thick skin."
"Are you done?" the girl asked botherlessly. Jeno only scoffed in return.
"You're unbelievable."
"Unlock the door."
"You're fucking unbelievable."
Nabi sighed before leaning towards the man and unlocking the door herself. She immediately got out of the car. "Just move on Jeno. Stop making both me and yourself suffer." She said, closed the car door, and started walking towards her apartment.
