"Let those vermin come to me just let them try. I'm the angel everyone adores with pride. Not even the devil now can take me down. Infamy and fortune abound"

"G-Guh...." Ruggie's breath hitched as his body convulsed, another wave of Leona's ruthless magic washing over him. His skin cracked like parched earth, moisture all but gone, eyes hollow with thirst. The scent of dry blood and scorched dust filled the air.

Riddle trembled. He had tried to keep calm, to think logically, but the moment Y/n had cried out earlier in pain, something inside him had fractured. Now, watching her suffer through this madness, it was unbearable. He clenched his gloved hand until his nails dug deep into his own flesh.

"If you have that much power, why do this?!" Riddle shouted, his voice breaking.

"'Why'?" Leona turned his head lazily, eyes narrowed in cold contempt. "What do you care, kid? You wanna scold me? Try to talk me down?" He chuckled darkly. "Don't you get it? Power alone ain't enough to make waves in this world unless you're like those spirit brats." he sneered as his eyes flicked toward Y/n.

He gestured toward the nearly unconscious hyena at his feet. "Look at Ruggie here. He's like a muzzled dog. Pathetic, ain't it? Hard not to pity him."

"Urrr...ggghhh." Ruggie let out a guttural sound, drool dripping from his dry, cracked lips. His body trembled violently from dehydration.

"Please, stop it Leona!" Y/n cried, her voice raw, but the moment she inhaled she began coughing violently, the sand scorching her throat.

"Mon chérie!" Vanitas moved immediately, wrapping an arm around her while keeping his coat spread wide to shield her from the wind. His jaw clenched, eyes burning with fury. "You're hurting her... You'll answer for that."

Noé crouched beside them, gently patting Y/n's back while shielding the side opposite Vanitas, his enhanced durability giving him a better edge against the storm.

Isfrid was already glowing faintly blue, his magic forming a condensation shield around Y/n's mouth and skin to moisten the air she inhaled. "Breathe,
Y/n... there you go... I've got you, I'm right here." His voice was deceptively soft, but his gaze never left Leona.

Leona smirked at the display. "Oh? So you've got both your knights and your little demon twin wrapped around your finger, huh?" He tilted his head, eyes shadowed with a strange gleam. "And yet even you... can't stop me."

"You won't get near her," Isfrid growled. His tone was low, calm—but deadly.

Vanitas stepped forward, his book snapping open with a metallic snap, chains coiling around his wrist. "Say one more word about her, lion, and I'll make sure your sand never settles again."

"You still won't quit!" Jack growled, lightning crackling through his veins. His eyes gleamed with raw fury and desperation. "Faster, Sharper, Stronger. Unleash the Beast!"

 Unleash the Beast!"
