CAPITULO 1

CLAZZO

"Hello! I am Ely, you are?" The little girl with two ponytails introduced herself.

I shyly waved my hand and showed a little smile, "I... I am Tifanie..."

"Do you wanna pway barbie?" Her eyes were shining while widely smiling, waiting for my answer.

"S-Sure... But my parents don't want me to go somewhere far." I told her.

"Tifanie! One more hour then we'll go home, anak, okay?!" It was my mom, sigaw niya from the clubhouse of this park.

Inabot sa akin ni Ely ang isa pang barbie at saka nilabas niya ang malaking dollhouse na nakapatong sa wheelbarrow na hila hila niya kanina.

"Ngayon lang kita nakita dito, dati ka nakatiya dito?" Bulol pa siya sa pagsasalita na parang hindi pa sanay sa Tagalog.

"Dati pa ako nakatira dito kaso ayaw ko sa labas kasi I'm shy." Nahihiya ko pa ring sabi sa kaniya, this is the first time kasi na lumabas ako and nag aya mag play.

"Pewo ngayon lang kita nakita! We should pway more often!" Ngiting ngiti siya sa akin habang nag p-play kami.

"This is barbie—" turo niya sa hawak niya, "and this is Raquel —" turo niya naman sa hawak ko.

"Barbie has a boyfriend and that's Ken! I wanna have my own Ken too!" Muli niya pang sabi.

"Does Raquel have a partner?" Inosente kong tanong sa kaniya dahil wala na akong nakitang ibang Barbie character na lalaki bukod kay Ken.

"Aww... Sowwy but I didn't get the chance to buy Raquel's partner."

Maybe Raquel is meant to be alone, while Barbie and Ken meant to be together for forever. Kinda unfair but what can I do to change the destiny's plan for them?

Naglaro kami ni Ely at hindi ko na napansin ang oras dahil sa kadaldalan niya, marami pa siya sinasabi tungkol sa toys niya na gusto niya rin ipahiram sa akin pero marami rin kasi akong toys sa bahay.

Tinawag na ako ni mommy at niligpit na namin ang toys, "Ba-bye, Ely!" I waved my hand to Ely.

Habang pinupunasan si Ely ng yaya niya ay nag wave back din siya, "Ba-bye! See you!"

Hawak hawak ni mommy ang kamay ko habang naglalakad kami pabalik sa bahay, tahimik lang din ulit ako.

"Anak, I'm glad that you're slowly making friends with our neighbors, I'm so proud of you for trying, anak." I looked up to her and she sweetly smiled at me.

I also smiled at her and say, "Thank you, mommy."

When we came home, Daddy welcomed us with a warm hug, even lola hugged me and wiped my sweat cause of too much playing in the playground.

Pinaliguan muna ako ni mommy bago kami kumain ng dinner sama-sama, masaya kaming kumakain kasi weekend at family day!

Tuwing weekend ay mommy and daddy will make time for us, lagi kaming nag a-out of town pero ngayon lang ang hindi which is totally fine, nanood lang kami ng movie sa Netflix nang sama sama.

My family is everyone's dream, their ideal family, tinitignan nga ng iba na perfect ang family ko kasi kahit na may work ang mommy and daddy ko ay nag s-spend pa rin sila ng time for me.

"How's your day, anak?" Daddy asked. Daddy's always like that, he would always ask me how was my day, or how my day went, I don't speak a lot but I like talking to my family.

"It went well, dad, I met a... Friend, I guess?" I shrugged my shoulders, maybe she's a friend? I don't know, I'm clueless.

"Wow, that's great! You finally have a friend!" Dad even clapped out of happiness, lola and mommy are also smiling.
