"All right, guys! I want to explain the rules to Nationals to you. OK? Nationals are totally different from Regionals." Kate told everybody

"It's all group dances?" Chloe asked

"No, it's way different than Regionals, guys." Michelle spoke up

Michelle: Basically, Nationals has six categories. The first round is male solo. Then you move on, and you go to small groups, which is around three to six dancers. There's duets... and then female solos. And after that, we do a group dance for semifinals and finals. And both the finals groups are elevan dancers each.

Kate: It's an elimination competition, which means, if you lose one round, you're out.

James: Honestly, I kind of like the Nationals rules. I think it's kind of cut-throat, and I like that.

"OK, I just want to focus on solos and duets for now." Kate said

"I think Michelle and Eldon should do the duet, I mean they are pretty much the reason we won Regionals." Chloe suggested

Michelle: I really do want to do the duet with Eldon, because we're dating and we have so much chemistry. It would be great.

"Um, actually, uh... I..don't want to do the duet." Eldon said the mine and West eye lit up

"What?"

Eldon: I do still want do the duet with Michelle, but...Hunter beat me fair and square in the dance battle. So, now I have to stay away from Michelle.

Michelle: I'm really confused when Eldon says that he doesn't want to do the duet because...there's no reason behind it. I just... I don't understand

-

"All right, dancers. Have you all decided what we'd like to audition for?" Kate asked us

"I'd like to audition for the male solo." Eldon said first

"Great. Thank you, Eldon."

Michelle: I'm really surprised that Eldon wants to be the male soloist, cos clearly that means that he definitely doesn't want to do the duet with me.

"Well, you know what, Miss Kate, I..." West volentered then James started making noises with his mouth I cant even explain

"Yo, West, West... Let Eldon have this one." James said

James: I tell West to drop the solo, because Eldon needs his confidence back and he doesn't need anybody messing with that.

"You know what, never mind, Miss Kate. You got this one, Eldon." West said then stepping back

West: So I don't go up for male solo because James told me not to. End of story. He's my boy.

"Anyone else?" Kate asked then Daniel took a step

"Dee, dee, dee, dee, dee! Let Eldon have it." James told Daniel who just them looked at him weird
