DESTINED for you (the next step)

Part 2

"Attention, dancers! Welcome to the A-Troupe auditions. Skylar is handing you all envelopes right now. Inside these envelopes..." Kate said while Skyler passed me a letter

Kate: I have made an envelope for each person who is signed up. I'm splitting them into morning and afternoon groups.

"Does everyone have one?" Kate asked us

"I have two extra cards." Skylar spoke up

"Oh, bring them here. Where are Eldon and Amanda?" Kate asked realising that they werent here

Michelle: I have no idea where Eldon is, but I know that Amanda's auditioning for a professional dance tour. She asked me to keep it a secret, so it looks like I'm going to have to cover for her.

"Eldon and Amanda will be here shortly but for now I can take their envelopes." Michelle said then getting the envelopes from Kate and holding on to them

"All right, everyone, please look inside your envelopes. If you have a white card, please raise it up." Kate told us and I saw that mine was white so I raised my hand

"You will be auditioning in the morning. If you have a black card, please raise it up. You will be auditioning in the afternoon. The audition will be broken down into two sections. The first part will be a choreography round. The second part will be freestyle. But the choreo and the songs will be different for both auditions. Got it?" Kate asked after explaining the rules of the auditions

"Got it."

"Good, you have an hour until the first audition, so use your time wisely. Warm up, practise, and good luck." Kate said and Riley and I showed eachother our cards and saw that we were in the same group

Riley: I'm actually glad that I'm in the first group auditioning. The first group gets to set the tone and you don't have time to stress about your performance.

Destiny: Im kinda happy Im going first. I mean I get to intimidate people by my dancing

Amy: Going first is a little intimidating, but I want to be at The Next Step so bad. I'm not going to let anything stop me.

"Hey Hails" I said seeing her at JavaJunction getting a snack

"Oh. Hi Destiny" She said then I pulled out a chair sitting next to her

"I didnt see you at auditions" I tell Hailey after she bites into her food

"Becuase Im not auditioning" She says with her hand covering her mouth due to her chewing food

"What?" I say to her

Destiny: Im kinda shocked that she isnt auditioning. Hailey is an amazing dancer probally better then the people who are auditioning. Im just in disbelief

"Why not?" I ask her then Hailey rolls her eyes and tells me why

Hailey: I just got into B-Troupe last year and I dont want to JUST get into A-Troupe again. I dont want to be in A-Troupe becuase they need a 13th dancer but becuase I deserve to be there
