Gelan was relieved after receiving Yunlan's message informing her of the situation at the university and that Shen Wei was not injured, but she still monitored the watch as she performed her usual daily tasks and planned an evening meal for two because she assumed that Yunlan would come to visit tonight after the false alarm earlier.

Da Qing and Chu were kneeling beside Yunlan who was unconscious but comfortably supported on the floor of the archives.

"Da Qing, you stay here and I'll send the staff home early, there must be a reason why the watch put him to sleep, he's fine, just sleeping."

Chu left the confused youngster watching over Yunlan while he ascended the stairs much faster than usual trying to enter the office with a calm outlook.

"As soon as you finish what you're doing, just go home, Yunlan will still pay you for a full shift, we're going to be busy in the dungeon and as there's not much to do up here, he's giving you some free time."

The staff didn't need to be told twice, the computers were switched off and everyone left as quickly as they could while Chu flew back downstairs. Da Qing kept watch until the office was empty and he locked the doors before helping Chu to carry Yunlan upstairs, placing him down gently on the sofa to sleep, much better than the floor. The youngster started making coffee for both of them while Chu opened the office records where he had left off and began to read about the shopping mall incident. it read as a cold report, no emotion, just facts and numbers which made sense, police reports didn't record emotions and he tried to remember this as he was reading.

Officers were dispatched to a disturbance in the West Side Shopping Mall. Gunman subdued before arrival by an off duty officer. Casualties minimal, one dead. Off duty officer identified as Chief Kunlun, commander of the Special Unit. Statements from three witnesses. Gunman attempted to rob the jeweller shop, and was stopped when the chief entered. He took a customer hostage but was shot while trying to escape, died at the scene. Hostage survived, no injuries. Chief Kunlun seriously wounded and blue lighted to hospital where he later died from his injuries.

Chu could feel his stomach churn as he placed the book down on the table, unaware of Da Qing's look of concern. He put the coffee cup down and knelt down to Chu's eye level asking him what was wrong, waiting for an answer.

"I think I may have found what Shen Wei's last nightmare will be about and we can't do a thing about it." he said sadly as  he glanced over at Yunlan still unconscious on the couch.....  He gave Da Qing the report to read and watched the shock register just as badly in the cat as it did in him. They sat there silently.

"Would Gelan know what the last dream is about or is she the same as us, having to wait to find out?" Da Qing asked, but Chu only shook his head not knowing the answer. The young cat rose quickly and sat at his computer entering the words, Shen Wei and waited.
