The next morning, Da Qing was enjoying breakfast with Yunlan and the professor who asked about the intruder's reasons for stealing Gelan.
"Its quite simple really, they are after the profit behind making copies and selling them to rich families who are wealthy enough to afford the cost of buying one."
"You're quite sure that there's no other reason behind it?" Yunlan asked his cat and hoped that he was right.
"That's it in a nut shell, Profit." Da Qing sounded very pleased with himself for finding out this information, now all they had to do was catch the boss and stop him.
"Why don't you let her be caught and then we will be able to stop them."
Yunlan suggested with a wicked smile looking towards where Shen Wei was sitting, and Wei could see that he had thought of a plan by his mischievous grin. So he returned the smile.
"What do you have in mind?"
Da Qing was shocked, "How can you do that, they'll reverse engineer her and make copies."
"Oh my cat, there are still some things you have yet to learn, Gelan will agree with us and see it as fun, she can never be harmed in this world."
Yunlan knew that he would have a lot of explaining to do soon to Da Qing and possibly Chu as well but both him and Wei knew that it was the best idea to catch the money men behind the attempted theft of an android for profit.
Now they had to think of a way of dealing with the other problem, of someone trying to kill Shen Wei. The poison dart killer didn't work for free, he must have been paid a lot of money to risk getting caught with the young thugs, and Yunlan suggested that Da Qing should speak to him again and see what he could find out.
When they finished their breakfast, Shen Wei left the table and went to his room to collect his things for work, followed closely by Yunlan who closed the door behind himself. he stepped closer to Wei and slid his arms around his waist swaying slightly with a huge smile,
"You will be very careful at work, we never got to finish what we started a few nights ago,"
Wei was enjoying the closeness, "I will watch out for any dangerous students to attack me with their pens," and he laughed.
"I will know if you are in danger, believe me." Yunlan stopped his sway and held a serious stare towards Wei's eyes.
"I do believe you, I always will, and I will be careful. You do the same." and Shen Wei leaned forward to kiss his boyfriend, before leaving to go to the university.
