Shen Wei had a decision to make.
Chu had a cat following him everywhere.
Yunlan had to adjust to being blind again.
Daqing was walking around on all fours again and didn't know how he had managed to transform from human to cat or vice versa, what he did realise was that he felt very much calmer and being a cat was very comfortable. He followed Chu around for a while, watching him trying to pretend that he couldn't see the cat following, which was fun. He'd never seen Chu so confused but gave up after it wasn't very entertaining any more, and went to look for Gelan, finding her in the security room watching everyone else.
"You knew about me" he said as he strolled along the tops of her screens.
"I knew that it was a possibility, but I could've been wrong. I was more positive after all four ofyou were together." she admitted.
"Did someone bring us all together?"
"Possibly yes, but I can't say or prove it." Gelan was on shaky ground even admitting this to Daqing but as the guilty person was probably watching them, she doubted that he would keep quiet for longer. The cat left to go in search of Yunlan, he was very aware of the broken emotions he was hiding rather well at breakfast this morning, and found him sitting on the patio with Shen Wei standing behind him, trying to massage the stress from his shoulders and neck.
"My nurse did say that my sight could be temporary but I had hoped for longer. I am grateful for some things, I had the chance to see the old photos we found and I saw how handsome my Weiis, you have beautiful eyes."
Yunlan avoided the subject of dreams, he wasn't going to risk influencing the decision that Wei had on his mind because he had seen Black Robe without the hood and knew who he was. Daqing watched from a distance, and was able to hear them very clearly.
"Have you opened your journal yet?" Yunlan asked as he held Wei's hands on his shoulders and felt a slight reaction as he gripped a little firmer.
"I don't know if I want to, most of it I think I would know through the dreams, and I couldn't bearto read about them, its too painful."
Yunlan didn't know how to convince Wei that it would be beneficial for him, without feeling that he was pressurising him to look at the book, so he said nothing. It was up up him, after all it was his book and now that Shen Wei had met the Black Robe entity, he was sure that the nightmares had ended.
Shen Wei leaned over, and kissed the top of Yunlan's head as he rose from his seat, emotionally tired and desperately needing a rest. Daqing could see the exhaustion that was well hidden behind Yunlan's smiles and followed him for a while, observing his behaviour. Wei led him to a recliner in the sitting room where he could relax, sleep if he wanted to, he would wake him for lunch or later for dinner, and left to find Gelan.
