Chu and Da Qing were still sound asleep when Yunlan sneaked out of the office, oblivious to his departure. Chu woke up first and panicked when he saw the empty sofa, no Yunlan, also Da Qing was missing. His first thought was the toilet, so he called outside the door, just in case it was occupied. Da Qing answered and said that he would be out soon, but he had no intention of leaving until he understood what had happened. He gazed at the mirror and all he could see was a black cat staring back at him, with green eyes. The rope had put a curse on him, he was certain, he was beginning to sound as crazy as Chu who had conversations with the thing, and he continued to stare at the cat in the mirror. He remembered walking to the loo or did he? The silver pendant was still hanging around his neck, maybe that had something to do with it or not?
Chu growled at him to come out of the toilet that he needed in, giving him no choice but to leave. Opening the door quietly, he was going to sneak out but Chu grabbed the edge and yanked the door wide open, desperate to go in and Da Qing flew past him to find a door shut in his face. Only then did it dawn on him, that he was standing up on two legs. Maybe it was a dream, there's alot of them going around tonight.
The office was empty, Yunlan had disappeared and obviously by Chu's behaviour, he didn't know where he was either. The only place Da Qing could think of would be Shen Wei's house, so while he waited on Chu, he phoned Gelan and asked her, explaining about the watch and Yunlan's sleep.
"Yes, he's here beside Shen Wei. It would be alright if you wish to join him, I don't have a problem with that, but you are not allowed to interfere with anything that might happen, except give medical aid, because I won't be able to help."
When Chu came back, Da Qing explained his phone call, telling him where Yunlan was and they wasted no time in arriving at Shen Wei's house, breaking a few speed laws on their way there. Gelan showed them to Wei's bedroom where Yunlan was sitting watching his love sleep.
They had never seen Shen Wei look so handsome in his attire, even although he was always smartly dressed, this was beyond his usual. Yunlan glanced around at them as they entered the room and smiled, very pleased to see them while Gelan provided two more seats for them to sit down. Chu risked asked the question that he wasn't sure if Yunlan would answer.
"Do you know what his dream is, what his nightmare is?" and he watched him for his reaction. Yunlan dropped his head sadly and slipped Wei's hand between his, holding it gently and softly stroked the back, while looking back up at Wei's face, he answered,
"Yes I do, and probably more than he knows this time." deeply sighing as he lowered his head again to look at Wei's hand.
Da Qing and Chu did not understand what Yunlan meant, neither could they ask for an explanation before the watch glowed bright red simultaneously with the whip action binding the two hands together, and Yunlan nodded in agreement before falling on to the bed asleep again.
