A few weeks later,
At a high school in Yokohama..Second Person's POV
Izana walked into the school ground, a sigh of frustration escaping his mouth. He was dressed in a black button-up shirt, with a few of the golden-coloured buttons left undone and slightly exposing his chest region. Jet black slack pants were hugging his legs and he even wore a pitch black blazer over his shoulders, his arms were not in the blazer sleeves. Several girls were staring at him as he made his way to the school building.
Uncomfortable with the attention he was receiving, Izana sped up his pace and rushed into the building. Ascending up the stairs, he hurried over to his class. He sighed in relief as soon as he was standing in front of his class. There was another guy, a blonde-haired man, standing outside the class with his head lowered down but since Izana didn't recognize him, the ivory-headed man ignored his classmate.
Izana did notice though; the man was wearing butter yellow button up shirt with white blazer as the outer wear matching with his white pants.
"Izana." The blonde-haired man called out his first name, much to Izana's surprise. Izana despised it when people who weren't close to him addressed him with his first name. He turned his head to glare at his classmate, "Who the hell do you think you are-"
Izana fell into silence the instant he recognized the man's face. Shion blinked his eyes in perplexity, pondering the reasons behind Izana's sudden anger. The tanned man analyzed his feature once again to dictate whatever he saw right now was reality or simply his imagination.
"....Shion?"
"Yeah?"
"What's with your hair?"
Izana brought up, disbelief written on his face. Shion had changed his hairstyle, from death hawk to mullet. Shion looked away in embarrassment, too hesitant to tell his friend the truth.
"I- Uh-"
"What? Trying to impress (Y/n)?"
"No! Just a change of pace, that's it."
"Wanna know a fun fact? You are the worst liar to exist in the entire fucking world."
"Fine, fine... Yes, I changed my hairstyle for (Y/n). Just because I don't want to embarrass her."
"Embarrass her...? You know damn well she doesn't care how you look like. You can go bald and she is still gonna compliment you."
"I know but... Some of the girls in our class were talking shit of her "poor taste" in guys thanks to me."
Shion frowned, hanging his head low again as insecurity kicked in his system. He recalled the conversation he accidentally overheard a week prior to the school cultural festival.
"(Y/n), can you tell Madarame-kun to change his hairstyle?"
"Huh? For what??"
