Meanwhile,
Izana's apartment,
Nighttime..

Third Person's POV

The kitchen was a battlefield of dirty dishes, remnants of a hastily thrown-together dinner. Izana and Shion stood side by side at the sink, the only sounds being the running water and the clinking of plates. Shion hummed his favorite tune, completely engrossed in drying each dish with the precision of a master craftsman. His obliviousness was both a blessing and a curse for Izana, who was in the throes of an internal crisis.

Izana's eyes darted towards Shion every few seconds, the desperation in his gaze growing more intense with each glance. His mind was a whirlwind of bewilderment. 'Should I ask him? He didn't exactly specify why I was the reason..and I badly wanna know.'

Izana scrubbed a particularly stubborn pan, the bristles of the brush squeaking against the metal. Shion's humming never faltered, a serene melody that only seemed to highlight Izana's turmoil. He had to admit, Shion's voice was annoyingly pleasant, even when Izana was on the brink of a meltdown.

'Did he actually mean it last night; I was the reason he found out he is bi? Or was this dumbass just messing with me?' Izana thought, scrubbing harder.

The brush slipped from his soapy grip, clattering into the sink. Shion didn't miss a beat, still humming, now gently patting a glass dry. Izana retrieved the brush, glancing sideways at Shion. The scene was almost picturesque: Shion's calm demeanor, the soft hum of his favorite song, and the orderly stacks of clean dishes. It would have been perfect, if not for the frantic drum solo playing in Izana's head.

'I should just ask,' Izana resolved, taking a deep breath. He opened his mouth, but nothing came out. Shion turned slightly, raising an eyebrow in question. Izana quickly looked away, pretending to focus intently on a stubborn piece of veggie stuck to a plate.

'Come on, Izana. Stop being such a pussy. Just do it.' His hands moved mechanically, washing yet another dish. 'But what if he thinks I'm being judgemental?'

Shion, blissfully unaware, switched to the chorus of his song, a bright smile on his face as he dried the next plate. Izana's fingers twitched. 'Need to get my shits together and word everything CAREFULLY. I'm NOT looking forward to cause a stupid misunderstanding. Our relationship is progressively getting better and I don't want to lose it..'

Another deep breath. Izana was about to speak again when Shion's humming hit a particularly high note, causing Izana to flinch. Aggravated, Izana gripped a plate a little too hard that it caused a crack. He slammed the dish scrub on the kitchen counter, turning to Shion with his fiery gaze. Shion flinched, eyeing him from head to toe confusedly.

"I-Izana, what's wrong?"

"I'm done with your shits."

"What? What did I do?"
