Third Person's POV

"You could have told me if you want to come over, Mama."

"But I love surprising you two!"

"Jeez...at least let me tidy up the place a little."

"Aww, don't be mad, sweetie. Mama just miss you."

Wisteria hugged her youngest son, nuzzling her cheeks with his happily. Rindou's face turned a bit red upon receiving such pampering from his mother. Wisteria's eyes analyzed the living area, trying to find her eldest son who was nowhere to be seen.

"Where is your brother?"

"Uh... sleeping.."

"Is he still feeling down?"

"He's kinda bummed out that (Y/n) doesn't come over today."

"Oh, that poor boy. Don't tell me he has been crying.."

"Not really but he has been in bad mood. I'm scared to talk to him."

Wisteria shook her head, heaving out a soft sigh. She gave a box of cakes to Rindou, the cakes she bought on the way here for her two sons. "I'll talk to him."

"Alright. Anything to drink, Mama? Beer or tea?"

"Beer is always better."

Wisteria smiled at Rindou before parting ways with her son, making her way to Ran's room. While Rindou, he went to the kitchen to prepare the said beer. He had always known Wisteria's love for alcohol but sometimes, his mother would request for tea.

After all, both mother and son shared mutual interest in drinking. Rindou inherited that trait from his mother.

Wisteria knocked on the door but she heard a loud thud against the door instead of being welcomed in. "Fuck off, Rin. I want to sleep!"

"Mhm, I guess no cake for you."

Upon recognizing the woman's voice, Ran perked up. Wisteria heard the doorknob shuffling before the door slowly creaked open, revealing her eldest son. His loose, long hair covered nearly half of his face.

"Mama.." Ran felt a surge of relief in his system at the sight of his mother standing before him. He opened the door wider, revealing himself completely to her. Wisteria pulled her son into a bear hug. "Oh, my sweet baby, I miss you a lot."

Ran teared up before returning the embrace. Wisteria patted his broad back comfortingly, consoling him. "Miss you too, Mama." He sobbed. He had been quite emotional today and to receive such warm surprise moved his heart.

Both mother and son soon sat down on the bed, Ran locking his gaze on the floor while Wisteria observed his condition. "What happened to you, sweetie? What upset you so much? I'm so worried of you right now.."
