Yokohama,
Izana's apartment,
Nighttime..Third Person's POV
Shion stood at the counter, carefully sorting through cutlery. As the clinking of metal filled the air, his gaze wandered toward Izana and Kakucho, who were busy stirring pots of curry and rice in the kitchen. The aroma was irresistible, but something else piqued his curiosity.
"Hey, Izana," Shion started, his voice casual, "who's coming over for dinner?"
Izana barely looked up from the pot he was stirring, a small smirk tugging at his lips. "Just someone we know," he said vaguely.
Shion's eyes lit up immediately, his entire demeanor shifting from casual to excited. "Is it... (Y/N)?" His voice rose with enthusiasm, and his eyes sparkled as though he'd already convinced himself. "(Y/n) is coming over..!" His oblivious certainty was almost endearing.
Izana didn't correct him, a faint, mischievous smile crossing his face as he kept stirring the curry. Kakucho, however, shifted uncomfortably, casting a glance at Izana before frowning. He couldn't help but feel bad for Shion, who was practically bouncing with excitement now.
Leaning closer to Izana, Kakucho lowered his voice and asked, "Why didn't you just tell him the truth?"
Izana paused for a second, then grinned wickedly, eyes gleaming with amusement. "Well, if I did, that idiot would bolt out of the apartment and never come back until the guests were long gone," he said, cackling evil laughter. He loved messing with Shion.
Kakucho sighed, rubbing his temples. He knew exactly where this was headed. "So this is your plan..just plain bullying."
Izana nodded, the devilish grin still plastered on his face. "Perfect timing, don't you think? Also, he will get benefit from this. Maybe later, he can overcome his fear of Manjiro."
Kakucho shook his head, clearly fed up but not surprised by Izana's antics. "You're a menace," he muttered, turning back to the stove, while Shion remained blissfully unaware of the actual situation, still humming happily and convinced that (Y/N) would walk through the door any minute.
Time passed as the savory scent of curry filled the apartment, the anticipation thick in the air. Shion could hardly sit still, his excitement building with every minute. When the doorbell finally rang, he shot up from his seat, a grin spreading across his face.
"I got it!" Shion announced, practically bouncing as he jogged over to the entrance. Behind him, Izana followed with a mischievous smirk, while Kakucho remained by the kitchen counter, already looking defeated as he rubbed his temples.
Shion eagerly swung open the door, arms outstretched, ready to throw himself into what he thought would be (Y/N)'s embrace.
But his movements came to a halt when he heard an eerily familiar voice.
