"Mei, wake up, sleepy head," Jungwon said, knocking on the guest room door.
"I am awake; I've been up for a bit. You can come in." Mei was putting on the last of her daily makeup; she felt naked without it.
"So, Niki and they wanted to know if you wanted to hang out today. They want to see you before you leave tomorrow." Jungwon said as he stood beside her.
Mei hummed a response as she focused on her eyeliner. She looked at his reflection when she held him swat at her hair, which she had in a low ponytail.
"You're such a cat," Mei laughed, putting the cat on the eyeliner pen.
"As long as I'm your cat," Jungwon said, visibly cringing at his words. They laughed as he wrapped his arms around her loosely, resting his head on her shoulder.
"What time do they want to meet up?"
"Maybe like 20 minutes."
"Of course. They love making last-minute plans," Mei laughed.
"But we could just go hang out together. I mean~," Jungwon said, noticing Mei's flustered reaction.
"We could at least say hi," Mei said, not disagreeing with either idea.
"Alright. We have about 15 minutes, it's a five-minute walk, but we could go now and just be there early, or we could just stay here for another 10 minutes. I'm pretty comfortable here, though." Mei laughed as he spoke.
"I feel like your feet would hurt if we stayed like this.''
"Worth it. Every single second. "
