"So, how was your day?" Jungwon asked, picking up the video call.
"Boring."
"Hey, two more days, and you're back with me," Jungwon said, smiling confidently.
"Mhm, two more days." Mei noticed his facial expression changes as his eyes scanned his screen.
"Where are you? That's not Isla's house?"
"Me and Isla went out of town for something, and she felt too lazy to drive home since it was late, so she wasted money on a hotel room."
"Hi, Jungwon!" Isla chimed in as Mei moved the camera.
"Oh."
"Yeah. So, how was your day?"
"It was good. Ni-ki and them keep asking about you. They ask like every day." Jungwon seemed slightly annoyed but laughed it off.
"They can wait."
"So wait- where are you guys?" Jungwon asked again.
"A hotel."
"You're being vague again, Mei," Jungwon complained.
"She fell asleep on the ride; she. , doesn't know yet either," Isla said happily.
"Alright," Jungwon pouted, making Mei laugh.
"It's getting late, Won." Mei sighed as she looked at the time.
"I know, but we haven't talked much recently."
"I know, but we'll make up for it soon."
"Definitely."
"Good night, Won. I love you."
"Good night. I'll love you forever, Pretty girl."
