Melatonin ~ Jungwon

"She's here," Jungwon said as they sat on the couch.

"Will you be able to last without me?" Mei teased.

"Of course not. I mean, come on," Jungwon joked.

"I need at least to get my stuff to the car, Won." Mei was lying on the couch, her legs over his.

"But what if you don't?"

"Then Isla will walk in here and wonder what is happening."

"Or you could...run away with me," Jungwon said, smiling at the similar conversation.

"How about no. I highly doubt your parents would allow that. You can finish a school year without me."

"What if I went with you?"

"And leave all of your friends and family? No. I can't let you do that, Won."

"I knew it was a stretch. Can't say I didn't try."

"Alright, but seriously, Won, I need to get my stuff out there."

"Fine, let me help you through," Jungwon said, sighing and getting off the couch. He reached out his hand for Mei to grab onto.

They grabbed her things and headed outside.

"Hi, Mei Lin! And Jungwon," Isla said as she saw the two finally outside.

"Hi, Isla. Hope you didn't miss me too much," Mei said as they put the bags in the back of the car.

"Don't forget to call me, Mei," Jungwon warned, grabbing her hands to pull her into his embrace again.

"Don't worry, Won. Just don't miss me too much," Mei said, smiling.

"I love you," He said.

"I love you, too." Mei hesitantly ended their hug, a tight, sad smile on her face as she got into the car.

Before she could shut the door, Jungwon stopped her.

"I'll see you next week, Mei," Jungwon said, smiling, and Mei nodded.

Mei finally got the door shut, only to be met with her aunt's knowing smile.

"Tell me everything!" Isla said happily, waving back to Jungwon as she began to back out of the drive.
