"Alright, girly, wake up, we gotta go!" Isla said, playing an alarm beside Mei's ear.

"What time is it?"

"Like almost six. But if you don't hurry, we won't be there until six-thirty!" Isla said excitedly.

"Be where? What are you going on about, Isla?"

"It's a surprise. Now get dressed, etc., so we can go."

Half asleep, Mei changed into sweatpants and a T-shirt, somewhat confused about how they got there.

"So, I have gotten like no sleep, so I'm begging you - please stay there as long as you can so I can sleep," Isla said as they got into the car.

"Why didn't you sleep?"

"I was packing some of your clothes and other necessities for your stay, duh."

"What stay?"

"Oh, my child. We're literally like ten minutes away from your boyfriend."

"How?"

"Well, you see, I took a weird approach to getting you here without knowing. So, while we were eating at the mall yesterday, you said you had a headache, etc. I gave you some sleepy medicine instead. Then I went home, packed yourself some clothes, la la la, and then I've been catching up on my lovely work stuff."

"Have I ever called you crazy?"

"Yes. Many times."

"So it won't be unusual as I say: you're crazy."

"Oh well. His parents left the door unlocked for you, asking you to lock it back when you get inside. They are at work right now. I don't know how they do these early shifts. But Jungwon should still be asleep."

"I didn't even know that you talked to his parents."

"Of course. I must be able to plan for these things."

"You're crazy."

"I know."

Isla pulled into the driveway and didn't leave until Mei was inside the house.

Mei walked until she came upon her boyfriend's door, cracked open as usual.

Mei pondered whether she should wake him or let him sleep. Deciding on the latter, she silently went to the guest room; she was tired, too.

She left the door open just enough to show someone had gone into the room.

She fell asleep quickly, finding the bed much more comfortable than the hotel bed.

It was nearly nine when the door opened more, a confused boy peeking through.

"I thought you said she wasn't supposed to be here for a few days? Did you forget your girlfriend was here?" Jake asked, walking back into the hallway.

"What do you mean?" Jungwon looked even more confused, and the older few laughed as they made the connection.

"Go look," Heeseung said, pointing at the door.

"I didn't even notice thay it was open," Jugwon said, shaking his head. He walked to the guest room, feeling so many emotions at once. How did she get there? How long had she been there? How did she even get in? Why didn't she wake him up? He didn't she tell him so he wouldn't have his friends over?

"Mei?" Jungwon walked closer to the bed, noticing how she began to wake up after he spoke.

"Good morning," Mei said shyly.

"Good morning to you, too?"

"It was your parents and Isla's idea. I did'teven know until about a few hours ago."

"That makes sense. But why didn't you wake me?"

"I wanted you to get your sleep, duh."

"But Jake got to see you first! It's so unfair."

"But I'm not Jake's girlfriend, now am I?"

"Nope. But yeah, they're all here right now, too."

"Well, they did complain about not seeing me," Mei laughed.

"I'm happy that you're feeling more confident, Mei. Confidence looks good on you."

"You really like complimenting, don't you."

"Only for you," Jungwon said.
