"Hey Mei, how was your ride back?" Jungwon asked, answering her video call.

"It was okay. I had to listen to Isla talk about us the entire way home. Then we stopped and went shopping; I can't believe how much she spent on this stuff."

"What'd all you buy?" Jungwon asked as he set his phone up against his computer.

"Mainly clothes. Some things for school. Odds and ends."

"Do I get a fashion show?" Jungwon smiled; his face lit up as one of his games loaded on his computer.

"Yeah, if you want," Mei asked.

"Is that even a question? Of course, I want to see."

She laughed, walking over to the other side of the room to the plentiful bags of new clothes.

Mei looked through them, unsure. She didn't know where to start.

She finally decided just to grab a random top and pair it with a different bottom, knowing she had few dresses.

She turned off her camera, feeling too lazy to leave the room.

Mei changed into a simple brown top, slightly cropped, with cream sleeves. She paired it with a pair of her dark green pants. It was her aunt's second favorite of the clothes they picked out.

Mei finally went and turned on her camera again.

"Pretty girl alert," Jungwon smiled, looking at the screen.

Mei didn't respond, blushing at the unfamiliar compliment.

"I like it, but the important question is, do you like it?" Jungwon asked.

"I do."

Despite playing his game, he'd pause it when he noticed her camera turn on.

He compliments the outfit and then asks if she likes it.

She finally got to the last outfit. It was a far stretch from the rest of her clothes, farther out of her comfort zone, but she also felt petty in it.

When she turned her camera on this time, he didn't notice at first—decently distracted by his game.

She watched him play intently, quietly trying to fix up the clothes on her bed.

Mei got back in view of the camera, and the movement got Jungwon's attention.

"Oh shit- oh shit." He went instantly silent, looking at his phone with wide eyes. Mei noticed how he didn't even pause his game.

"Oh, um, is it bad?" Mei asked nervously at his silence. He shook his head as if getting himself out of his thoughts.

"Bad? No. Exact opposite. I'm...I'm just...holy shit." Jungwon seemed to stutter as he spoke, seeming to go shy.

"Are you sure?"

"I'm sure. It looks amazing. You look amazing." Jungwon was still clearly lost in his thoughts.

"I like it; I feel pretty."

"That's good. You're always pretty. You're my pretty girl," Jungwon smiled.
