(Lorelei's P.O.V)

"Ugh, I'm so glad that's over," Damon stated as he stood up and stretched his arms over his head.

Everyone was gathering their belongings after class was dismissed. I started putting my things in my bag, ignoring Edward's eyes on me.

"Seriously. I've never been that bored in all my life. Why you choose to put yourself through that, I'll never know," Damon continued to speak.

"You didn't have to come. You did this to yourself," I reminded him. "You're not even a student here."

"Thank God for that." He paused, studying my annoyed face before continuing, "Okay, hurry. I want to get out of this place. It's starting to suck the life out of me."

I couldn't help but roll my eyes. "You're an expert in that department," I mumbled, earning a glare from Damon.

"Ha ha," he said sarcastically. "Could you be any slower? Let's go."

"Damon, I'm not leaving. I have another class in a couple of hours," I told him.

His mouth fell open. A dramatic sigh escaped from his lips. I couldn't help but laugh at his expression.

"You've got to be kidding me." He wasn't happy.

"Go back to your tent. Or go bug Ric! Yeah, go bug Ric," I urged with a smile.

He shook his head. "Nah, I've already made plans with Ric later. We are going on a double date tonight so I can finally meet his little fiancé."

I was aghast. Edward and Alice walked around the table and joined us. Edward hovered directly behind me. I tensed at his proximity. He usually never stood this close to me. The electrical current flowed between us and I fought to keep my composure.

"Um, no we aren't. I'm not going on a date with you." I was surprised at how steady my voice was.

"Lorelei has to help with the play preparations. She already promised," Alice told Damon, holding his stare.

He rolled his eyes. "I forgot about that. Guess we will have to reschedule. So, what sort of 'preparations' are we doing exactly?"

I folded my arms across my chest defiantly. "I told you we aren't doing anything."

"She doesn't want you to come, in case you haven't noticed. You weren't invited." Edward's low voice came from directly behind me.

My stomach did a backflip at the sound of his voice. I raised my brows at Damon, warning him to be nice. Fire flashed in his eyes. He took a step towards Edward. I was practically caged in between them, given the fact that they both towered over me.
