.......

From the moment we arrived, the loud energy of Goa enveloped us. The pristine beaches, the lively streets, the delicious food, an the awe-inspiring architecture welcomed us with open arms. It was a breath of fresh air, a break from the monotony of daily life, and a chance to embrace the carefree spirit that Goa embodies.

The sands stretched before us, merging with the azure waters of the Arabian Sea as we arrived at Baga Beach. The golden sand was soft beneath our feet, inviting us to leave our footprints as we strolled along the shore. The palm trees swayed gently in the ocean breeze, casting shadows on the beach. Today we had another thing on mind, other than lounging and sipping margaritas.

As the volleyball match kicked off on the sandy shores, I found myself caught up in the spirited competition. Adira, Kavya, and I formed a formidable team, determined to claim victory against Arjun, Viraj, and Esha. We dodged balls and dove for spectacular saves.

”Alright, team! Let's show them what we're made of! No mercy!”, I cheered as loud as possible to keep the spirit high.

“You got it, Ayan! We're not going down without a fight!”, Adira said, challenging the other team, filled with competitiveness. With each passing day, I discovered a novel aspect of my wife’s personality. This trip gave me a way, to see her in a new light, altogether.

“Watch out, boys!”, Kavya threw the ball with force.

The game intensified as both teams unleashed their skills. The ball flew back and forth, accompanied by shouts of excitement. Adira's quick reflexes and my strategic plays kept the opponents on their toes.

“You better watch out, Ayan! Your wife is showing us some serious skills here!”, Arjun teased me.

The game intensified as both teams battled for dominance. My team was just one point away from victory, and the tension was palpable. Sensing an opportunity, Adira hatched a mischievous plan. With a sly grin, she discreetly signalled me, and we executed the prank flawlessly.

The ball was served, and Adira skilfully pretended to fumble, catching Arjun off guard. The ball soared right past him, and the crowd erupted in cheers as our team secured the winning point.

“Adira, that was a dirty trick! I demand a rematch!”, Arjun was playfully outraged.

“Come on, Arjun, it was all in good fun! You've got to admit, it was a pretty epic prank.”, I have never seen Adira replying with such smugness.

Arjun's reaction was swift. He chased after Adira with a playful vengeance, his laughter mixing with hers. In a moment of pure fun, he lifted her off the ground and tickled her, teasing her to offer an apology. Their bond was evident, and I couldn't help but feel a twinge of jealousy. Was it just innocent playfulness, or was there something more between them?
