Chapter 26

Ryan's POV

It was 6am and we had just arrived at Central Park, after a 15 hour drive from Memphis. We were preforming at the Good Morning America Summer Concert "Hey guys" Jemma, the site manager grinned as we arrived. We were all pretty much half asleep.

"Hey" I grunted as I zipped up my hoodie, we had all got off the bus looking like vampires in the sunlight, it was a beautiful sunny day. But there was an early morning chill in the air.

"Where can we get coffee?" Was the first question Drew asked.

"Over there" Jemma pointed to a mobile food cart.

Drew, Brent, Eddie, Zach and myself made it out number one priority to get coffee. It had been a long night traveling to New York "So what time is Abi getting here?" Zach asked as I took my coffee of the side. She had left Memphis after us, she had a late night radio interview and decided to come to New York by plane.

"She should be with us just after 7am" I reply as I sip my coffee, my god that's awful. I almost spit the coffee out.

There are two things in this world that disappoint me...bad food and bad coffee.

"Oh man" I am guessing Brent feels the same way as I do. I look at his face which has been twisted in disgust, he looks so funny.

"That's terrible" I nod in agreement with him.

My cellphone beeps in my pocket 'Hey baby just in the car, see you soon love you xxx' I see this as a perfect opportunity.

'That's great baby see you soon, oh and can you bring Starbucks for us all. Coffee here is awful, love you too xxx'

'Yeah sure get the orders and I'll pick them up xxx'

"Abi's bringing Starbucks" I break the good news to the guys.

"OH man, that woman is a goddess" Zach rejoices which makes me chuckle.

"Hey guys are you ready for you interview?" Alice approaches us, she has only just arrived and she looks a little stressed "I know they said it wouldn't be until 8am but the producer changed it to 7am"

It wasn't unusual for a producer to do this "Yeah no worries" I say quickly to ease Alice's mind "Is everything okay?"

"Yeah, well no not really" Alice looks concerned "But I'll be okay" Alice obviously didn't want to talk about what was troubling her "When is Abi getting here?"

"Erm within the next 20 minutes" I look at my watch, damn was it really 6.40 already?

It was just after 7.30am and here we were all sat in a line under a gazebo waiting to be interviewed by GMA "Hey guys?" Lara one of the female presenters sat opposite us "Let's do a quick introduction of you guys for the people watching at home..."

"Hi I'm Zach"

"Eddie"

"Hey I'm Drew"

"Brent"

"Ryan" I was the last one to have the microphone which had been handed down the line.

"So guys what a great morning, how are you all doing?"

"Good" I reply on behalf of us all.

"That's great. Now Ryan we understand you are touring at the moment?"

"Yeah we are about 6 weeks into a 160 plus date tour"

"And you are playing in Washington tonight?"
