Chapter 27

Abigail's POV

"Take that money, watch it burn, sink in the river the lessons I've learned" I was surprised to feel Ryan grab my hand, he spun me round and danced with me on stage, before spinning me round one final time and kissing my hand gently as he finished Counting Stars "My beautiful wife ladies and gentlemen" he announced over the microphone. The audience cheered as he went on to play Good Life.

"Abi Hi" Lara Spencer from GMA came up behind me and Leroy "How are you? You look amazing, your skin is glowing"

"Thanks" I laugh, if only she knew how I was feeling on the inside.

"I don't mean to be cheeky, but would you mind if we did a quick interview with you?"

"Yeah absolutely" I am not overly excited by the idea, but she did ask me nicely so how could I possibly say no? "Did you want to do it now?"

"Yes please, Kim get over here" one of the camera crew came over and pointed a camera at us both "So as I am wondering around the stage side, look who I bump into...Abigail-Jenson Tedder"

"Abigail hi"

"Hey"

"So Abigail you are currently touring with Ryan and the rest of OneRepublic right now?"

"Yeah" I try and sound as polite as possible "I am touring with them until the beginning of next month, then I will be starting to film the next series of Vampire Stories"

"Awesome, so what can we expect for the new series"

"Erm lots of surprises" I frown, I am not really sure what I am allowed to tell her "There's a few new characters we are going to be introduced to throughout the series, some good and some bad"

"Ooh sounds very exciting" Lara smiles "In the finale of the last series, we were introduced to a very dark side of Abigail, your character in the show, is that side of her going to continue in the next series or does she go back to being herself"

"Erm I'm not really sure what I am allowed to tell you yet. I have read through my scripts though and all I can say is expect some pretty crazy stuff"

"Oh god, I think it's safe to say we are all excited for the new series when is it due to be broadcasted?"

"It'll be released ready for Christmas hopefully"

"Awesome" Lara looked to the stage and then turned back to me "So what else is coming up for you? There has been alot of rumours in the papers recently that you and Ryan are planning a family"

"Erm yeah" Shit I don't know what to say, I look to Leroy for help but he is not in earshot...FUCK she has guessed.

"Oh maybe sooner rather than later" Lara smiles. I see Ryan glance over at me, he looks a little concerned by how uncomfortable I seem "Oh my god, Kim stop filming...Abi are you pregnant?"

Fuck she knows..."Are we live?" I ask instinctively.

"No honey we can edit that" Lara had always been lovely when doing interviews I remembered back to when she interviewed me after my seperatiom from Nick. I ended up falling apart on set and she edited most of it out "Oh wow you are aren't you?"

I managed to nod "I knew something was different about you, I said you were glowing didn't I. That's amazing news congratulations" she hugs me excitedly and turns to look at Ryan who was walking off stage and towards us.

"Congratulations Ryan, Abi told me the news" she is hugging Ryan now.

"She guessed actually" I smile sheepishly at him, to my relief he laughs "We haven't told anyone else yet though just close friend and family"

"Oh don't worry sweetie, it won't go any further than here. When did you find out?"

"A few weeks ago now, we went for our 12 week scan a couple of days ago" Ryan explained "We are just waiting for the right time to announce it, it's hard right now especially with all the negative press coverage Abi has been getting recently"

"Oh god yeah of course, that can't be easy for you" Lara turned to look at me again "Well when you guys do decide to go public, I get dibs on the first interview"

"Yeah okay" I giggle as Ryan's arm loops around my waist and he kisses my temple hard.

Lara wraps up the interview and makes one last promise to edit the bit where she discovers I'm pregnant. I walk with Ryan and the rest of the guys through the ocean of technicians, bands and artists. Leroy is walking beside me and Ryan "I thought it was you guys" Ryan and I both turn round and see Gavin Degraw standing behind us.

"Hey man" Ryan gives him a manly hug.

"Hi Gav" I take my turn and hug him after Ryan has "How are you?"

"Good thanks" Gavin replied as he took a step away from me "You look amazing"

"Thanks" I giggle.

"I didn't realise your were performing here today" Ryan spoke to Gavin, while the rest of the band mingled with Gavin's band.

"I didn't either until about an hour ago"

I zoned out for a few minutes while everyone else talked amongst themselves.

Suddenly out of nowhere I felt Leroy plough into me and push me sideways "ABI MOVE" he yelled. There was a loud crash from behind me, as I looked round I saw a flood light which had been smashed on the floor. It must have fallen from the scaffolding above us.

"Shit" one of the official's came rushing over to us, he was wearing black trousers and t-shirt "Are you all okay?"

"What the fuck man?" Ryan lost it completely "Who's responsible for lighting?"

"I am" as soon as the man opened his mouth Ryan grabbed his shirt in both hands.

"YOU IDIOT, YOU COULD HAVE FUCKING KILLED HER" Leroy grabbed Ryan and tried to pull him off the guy.

"Ryan stop, that's enough. It wasn't his fault" I intervene when I see Leroy isn't getting anywhere. To my relief he quickly backs off, Ryan looks straight at me and then back at the official.

"I'm sorry man I just panicked" he apologised quickly before turning to face me "I saw that thing fall and just thought what if it...are you okay baby, I'm sorry"

"I'm fine" I wrap my arms tightly around Ryan's neck and he hugs my waist.

"I think maybe we should tell people now" I break the silence, between Ryan and I. He is writing song lyrics over music he is listening to on his ipod and I am reading and revising my script for Vampire Stories. We are now on the bus on our way to Chicago.

"Sorry what?" Ryan took his earphones out and turned his body to face me.

"I think now would be a good time to announce that I'm pregnant, at least while still together and not on opposite sides of the world"

Ryan didn't reply he just picked up his phone and reached over and took a picture out of his note book. It was our babies scan picture "What are you doing?" I ask as I watch him take a photo on his phone of the scan picture "Ryan?"

"You'll see"

I feel a sudden vibration in my pocket I take out my phone as see I have a twitter notification "What did you do?" I half smile as I look at it you were mentioned in a comment. Under a picture of our babies was this caption. A smile crept across my face as I read it to myself.

'It looks like Me and Mrs Tedder are going to be very busy, very soon...due mid December'
