Chapter 63

Ryan's POV

"You look gorgeous" Abi came out of the bedroom in a black short dress, which had lace around the shoulders.

"Thanks" she replied with a weak smile, she was obviously still shaken pretty badly.

"Please don't shut me out" I moved some of her hair away from her face and tucked it behind her ears. Seeing Abi like this makes my heart ache, she is usually so fiery and confident "Talk to me baby, I'm right here"

"I know" she sniffed "It's just seeing Kelsey in the babies room like that freaked me out, I mean how easy would it have been to get in the room of they were actually sleeping in there..."

"You don't ever have to worry about that, nothing will ever happen to you or them I swear..."

"Ry you can't protect us all the time, especially when you are on the road"

"What so you want me to stop touring, if that's what you want then..." I was willing to do anything to make Abi feel safe and secure and if that means giving up touring then I would do it in a heartbeat, she was my whole life.

"No baby I would never ask you to give up something you love, but at the same time you can't protect me if you're not there so I have decided to quit Vampire Stories..."

"WHAT!" My reaction sounded harsher than it was meant too "Abi you can't quit..."

"I don't know what else to do" Suddenly her temperament changes and she has tears in her eyes "When she was in our house I just kept thinking about Dom and Nick and how easy it was for him to get close to me while Nick was on tour. Ryan I can't put myself in that position again"

"Okay, whatever you want to do. I'll support you with any decision you make" she is sobbing uncontrollably into my shirt and the only thing I can do is hold her and agree with whatever she wants.

"I thought she was going to kill us" she sobbed shit my heart sank when I realised how scared Abi must have been. It finally makes sense why she was so desperate to get to me, I never wanted her to feel scared again.

"She'll never get near you again" I wrapped my arms around her and kissed the top of her head.

Taking Abi out in a date night seemed to be just what she needed, we had just been for dinner and we're now walking through Central Park. It was 1.30am so security had slackened a little which was great. As much as having all that security made us feel safe, we sometimes felt suffocated.

Our hands linked together loosely as we walked hand in hand under the moonlight "Thanks for tonight baby, it was just what I needed"

"It's what I'm here for" I smile hoping she won't pick up on the worry in my voice, the stuff with the record label was still playing on the back of my mind.

"And I'm here for you too, you know that right?" She frowned shit she knows something.

"Yeah of course" I exhaled unconvincingly.

"Is everything okay Ryan?"

"Yeah why wouldn't it be?" I lie

"In all the time we have been together have you ever been able to lie to me?"
I shake my head and smirk, she was right lying to Abi has never been a strong point for me "Okay fine, a few days ago Alice to me something about the Label"

"Okay" Abi stopped walking and turned to face me. She looked concerned now too.

"They're dropping us"
