Chapter 58

Abigail's POV

"Okay we're gonna try this from a different angle okay" Steve the director yelled from behind a camera "Joseph and Abi, I just want you two in this shot. And instead of a passionate kiss I want you guys to try a tender gentle kiss okay?"

I had been kissing Joseph for the past 45 minutes, Steve was desperately trying to get the right shot to end this scene. We had tried passionate, lustful and were now going for the gentle approach...I had my own idea of how I personally thought this kiss would go. But Steve was very rarely welcoming to suggestions so I kept quiet, we both stood in position...Joseph with his hands on my face looking deep into my eyes "And action" Steve yelled.

"You lied to me for over a hundred years Jonah, and compelled me to forget you" Olivia spoke softly (This was my character in the show, and Jonah was played by Joseph Morgan)

"And that alone has haunted me every moment of my life, I compelled you to forget so you would be truly safe. I never once forgot about you, as forgetting you would be like forgetting my own existance" Jonah (Joseph) whispered "You are my one true love, my soul mate, my wife and I promise you I will never make you forget any of this again. It isn't possible for a vampire to love, but yet I love you with my whole heart. Please don't turn away from me again" Joseph moves closer to kiss me and we do so, tenderly just like Steve asked...

"Cut, Cut, Cut" he yells as he wafts his arms in the air "It's still not right, how can we do this?" Nows the perfect time to give him my idea.

"Steve, Olivia and Jonah have been apart for 100 years. Maybe the first kiss they share should be a little clumsy, almost awkward" I wince as I wait for his reaction, Steve was rather eccentric.

"That's not a bad idea, let's try it" Steve walked off set and turned quickly "Take it from It isn't possible for a Vampire to love"

Joseph and I nod "It isn't possible for a vampire to love, but yet I love you with my whole heart. Please don't turn away from me again" we both lean forwards slowly and with a little awkwardness, then once our lips meet we kiss gently at first and then into passionate, I wrap my arms around Joseph's neck as he moulds his hands around my waist.

"CUT" Steve yells again, me and Joseph pull back instantly and turn to see Steve grinning at us "That was perfect well done Abi" he claps his hands together "Right that's enough for now, go and get yourselves some dinner"

Everyone dissappears off set and heads towards the catering truck, I wait for Joseph and Claire "So Abi, when are you seeing Ryan again?" Claire asks as we walk out to get some dinner.

"In a few weeks, he's in Chicago when we are" I smile as we stand in the queue.

"Oh brilliant" Claire smiles "Maybe we could all go for a drink, a soft one for you of course" she chuckles as she gestures towards my bump.

"Hi sorry to disturb you, but could we get your autographs please" a group of girls are holding pens and notepads, it wasn't unusual for extras to ask for autographs during breaks. I looked into the distance and could see Leroy on the phone.

"Yeah sure" Joseph smiled as he took the pen off one of the girls, he was always so humble towards fans "Who is it for?"

"Oh my name is Kara, thank you so much" one of the girls grins. They move around us all as we each sign their notebooks.

"Thank you so much guys" the girls smile before rushing off excitedly, I am just about to talk to Claire again when I feel my phone vibrating in my pocket. I picked it up on my way to dinner.

"Hello you" It's Ryan.

"Hey baby how's filming going?" He asks curiously, I can hear a tone of worry in his voice.

"Really good thanks, is everything okay with you?" Something's wrong I can hear it in his voice.

"That's good, yeah everything's fine..."

"Ryan you have never been able to lie to me" I push hoping to get an answer, but no such luck Ryan is still his stubborn self.

"It's nothing honestly just a few recording hiccups, nothing we can't sort out"

"Okay well as long as you're sure"

"Yeah I'm sure, so what time do you finish today?"

"Erm...god knows, Steve wants us to do some night time filming, while we have the dry weather. It could be 1 or 2am" I reply, knowing full well this will not please Ryan in the slightest.

"That's nearly 16 hours of filming, Abi I thought you promised me you would take it easy" he scolded, causing me to blush. I roll my eyes causing Claire and Joseph to smile.

"I know I did, and I am. Most of the time I am sitting down, it's not action shots Ry. Just talking and kissing"

"Kissing huh?" I can hear the playful tone in Ryan's voice "I hope you're not enjoying kissing him more than me?"

"You know that'll never happen" I chuckle "You are my number 1 kissing partner, Joseph is just a stand in while you're away" I tease and Ryan's laughter roars.

"Is that right, well maybe I should practice my technique while I'm away. Don't want any competition now do I" Ryan's voice seems alot more relaxed now.

"Baby no-one even comes close to you" I laugh a little and Claire and Joseph smirk.

"Good, make sure it stays that way"

"I will, so what are you up too?" I wonder curiously.

"We are just finishing up the last few tracks for the new record" Ryan's voice is shakey again "We're getting close to deadline now"

"I didn't realise there was a deadline" Ryan quickly changes the subject.

"How's the twins, still giving you backache?" I don't want to keep pushing him so I keep my feelings to myself. This is something we needed to talk about in person.

"Not so much now" I put my hand on my bump "They are both still as active though, like a couple of little ravers"

"That's good, god I wish I could see you" Ryan exhaled under his breath hoping I wouldn't hear. I don't say anything though obviosuly he has his reasons for not telling me what is on his mind.

"You wanna face time me?" I ask.

"Absolutely" he replies in a slightly more cheerful tone "I hang up now okay" I don't get chance to reply, before Ryan hangs up and face times me.

He is wearing a white t-shirt and a grey hoodie and baseball cap "Hey beautiful that's better" he smiles widely "Where are you?"

"Stood in the queue for dinner" I chuckle as I see him trying to look behind me.

"Is that your costume?" He asks, referring to the black jeans, white shirt and black leather jacket I have on.

"Yep, I have been downgraded too, look" I show him my wedding finger hand, I have had to remove my wedding and engagement rings for filming.

"Yeah well don't you get too comfortable without them" his eyes look playful.

"Like that's going to happen" Claire spoke over my shoulder "Sorry to interupt your facetime, hey Ryan" she adds sheepishly. Ryan puts his hand up a little, like a mini wave "Abi hasn't shut up about you since we got back"

Ryan burst out laughing "Is that right?"

"Yeah well I'm allowed to miss my husband" I feel myself blushing again.

"Oh shit I need to go" I can hear someone call Ryan's name, it sounds like Alice "I'll Skype you later okay?"

"Yeah okay, I love you"

"I love you too, bye baby" Ryan ends the call and I turn to face Claire who has got my lunch "Thanks honey" I take the tray and we sit at a table, I still can't shake the feeling that Ryan is hiding something...
