Chapter 36

Abigail's POV

"I love you too"

After an eventful few hours I can honestly say I was a little surprised to feel the babies move, and seeing the look on Ryan's face when he felt them too was magical.

We had collected all our luggage and were now on our way to the radio station, I sent Leroy to the hotel with the rest of the guys. Things had died down alot since the start of the tour and I thought he would appreciate the rest. I mean let's be honest Ryan had already proved he was more than capable of protecting me from morons.

We arrived at the radio station a little bit later than we had hoped which meant there was no time to do a quick run through before the show. So it was basically sit down and we were on air, Ryan waited next door. I could see him watching us through the glass.

Cal the radio presenter introduced himself to me and then handed me some headphones to put on, I watched as the red 'on air' light flashed on "I am joined this morning by our mystery guest..."

I can feel constant bubbles in my stomach as Cal speaks "Abigail Jenson-Tedder is here this morning, welcome Abigail" my attention returns quickly and I reply.

"Thank you"

"Now Abigail you have literally just come from the airport, so I promise we will get this over and done with as quickly as possible so you can go get some sleep" I laugh, Cal has a great personality "Firstly I wanted to say how amazing you look, even after no sleep. You are glowing"

"Nah I'm just really hot" I joke and pretend to fan myself.

"I'll say" I can't help but laugh at Cal's boldness "Anyway enough flirting for now...Abigail"

"Cal" I reply in the same tone.

"I hear on the grapevine that you are going to be filming a new movie with Chris Hemsworth soon?"

"Yeah I am, erm it's called Saving Grace and should be released early next year hopefully"

"Cool, and you are filming a new series of Vampire Stories right now?"

"I will be as from next week, I have taken some time off to tour with Ryan at the moment"

"That must be awesome"

"Yeah it is, I love being on the road. Different cities all over the world, it's an incredible feeling. And after the meningitis and then finding out I am pregnant, well it just seemed like the right thing to do"

"Of course, I did see Ryan had announced something on Twitter recently about you guys becoming parents in December"

"Yep" I smile as I look through the glass and can see Ryan smiling at me.

"So how far along are you now?"

"17 weeks now, so nearly half way"

"You know to say you are carrying twins, you have a very nice neat little bump" Hannah one of the female presenters speaks up.

"Aww thank you" I feel my cheeks burn a little "I am sure it won't feel little in a few more months"

"Probably not" Hannah chuckles "For those of you who aren't watching this through video link, Ryan is actually sat the other side of the glass and is smiling away as we talk about Abi's baby bump. He looks like a very proud Daddy"

I laugh as Hannah explains what Ryan's doing "So Abigail, apart from filming and promoting new movies and awaiting the arrival of your twins, is there anything else we should look out for?"

"If you can actually fit anything else in" Hannah laughs.

"Well I will be a guest judge on Dancing With the Stars next month" I reply much to Cal's surprise.

"Wow so you will be really busy over the next few months? Pretty much chokka til Christmas then"

"Yeah it looks that way"

"Does it not bother you, not having any free time?"

"Yes and no to be honest, I like days off to spend with my family. But at the same time I am in no position to complain, in this line of business you honestly never know where your next job is coming from. I can be working flat out now and then go months with nothing, you have to be grateful for everything you get"

"Absolutely" Hannah smiles "Abigail a few of us are dying to know, recently you were seen having lunch with Victoria Beckham" I know what she is going to ask me and the thought makes me laugh a little "Are you good friends or...what's the story?"

"Erm yeah, I met Victoria about 7 or 8 years ago at a charity event in London" I explain "We have alot in common and hit it off straight way, we have been friends ever since and now our kids go to the same school"

"How good a friends are you, I mean do you talk regularly?" Hannah pushed, this caused Cal to throw her a glare.

"Yeah we talk on the phone or Skype eachother as much as possible and then we will try and meet up when we can too. It's great having friends in the same industry"

"That is so awesome, I mean I was reading through your friends list in a magazine the other day and some of the on the list...oh wow, you have great friends. Do you name drop alot?"

"Oh yeah all the time" I laugh "I'm joking, no not really. This is going to sound really awful, but I actually don't relate to them as celebrities they are just my friends...I mean it's like Ryan, when I talk about him it's like oh yeah he's just my husband, and people look at me like what? He is Ryan Tedder, he has written and sold X amount of singles. But when we are at home we are just an average married couple, walk around in our pj's, pig out on the sofa and watch movies"

"Going onto a slightly different subject, we read recently that you are not Kanye or Kim's biggest fan?" Oh here we go, I knew this would come up in conversation.

"Not particularly no" I smirk as I look at Ryan, he is sniggering into his hand "Let's just say self importance is an ugly trait in a person"

"And we shall leave it at that for those of you who haven't heard what happened..." Cal started and I interrupted cheekily.

"Google it" I laugh "You will all be enlightened"

"So Abigail, who would you say just out of interest is on your top 5 dialing list...of famous friends"

"Oh erm, Ryan obviosuly" I grin in Ryan's direction "I have been talking to Chris Hemsworth alot recently, Victoria Beckham, erm oh god..."

"I think we all could use god on speed dial" I can't help but laugh loudly at this comment, Cal is probably one of the best and sharpest presenters I have ever worked with.

"Yeah we could" I chuckle "Top 5, who have I said so far?"

"Erm Chris Hemsworth, Victoria Beckham and Ryan Tedder, who I don't think we should count considering he is just your husband" Cal gives me a cheeky smile which makes me laugh loudly again.

"Yeah fair point, so Vic, Chris, Meryl is another one I talk to alot, she gives good advice. Meryl Streep that is, erm Johnny Depp we spoke yesterday morning actually and probably oh Joseph Morgan of course, from Vampire Stories. We talk on the phone all the time, usually about scripts"

"Okay so Abigail I took the time yesterday to Google you online and I gave to say, you have had an amazing career for someone of your age. But what I really want to know is in your personal opinion what is your biggest career highlight?"

"In my whole career?" Gosh this question is alot harder than it sounds. I try and think of the things I have done and suddenly one thing stands out above everything else "That would hands down have to be, when I danced with Patrick Swayze. I think I was about 21 at the time and I was in awe"

I look over at Ryan and can see he is still watching me, I wonder what he is thinking...
