Shen Wei started walking slowly towards the doorway which would lead them downstairs to the vault while he screamed for help in his mind.
Lin Jing was busy scrolling through reports looking for the last three bank jobs with the single security guard when he heard Shen Wei's deafening call for help and looked around the main office before closing his door.
"Sunshine Shen Wei, can you hear me?" He had never considered himself to be telepathic and always avoided science fiction. To him anything that couldn't be explained normally, was sci-fi.
"I'm sorry Lin Jing, I broke my promise, but watch and find him for me, Please."
Shen Wei broadcast the memories that he had just seen, hoping that they would help in finding Yunlan while he was trapped in an impossible situation, he couldn't show his power for fear of killing his lover, he didn't know how the signal to use the syringe was going to be sent. This crook couldn't possibly be telepathic, blocking thoughts and telepathy were completely different which meant that it must be electronic, a phone or a pager of some kind, so he had to trust Lin Jing again.
Lin Jing felt as if he was watching a television, the pictures were so clear. Yunlan was attacked from behind as he had bent down to pick up a pen while the second attacker knifed the young guard and left him for dead, as they both hastily brought the wheelchair leaving it close to transport Yunlan out of the building, but had to wait when Gelan entered to lift him from the floor, putting him back into bed. They passed several nurses and security guards in the ward explaining that he needed an x-ray to check for damage after his fall earlier, before removing him in the back of an ambulance.
The next part showed Yunlan restrained in a bed unable to move but still unconscious with someone else standing waiting for the signal to use the syringe he was holding, giving Yunlan small doses until they got what they were after. The third piece of information that Shen Wei managed to send was the image of his lawyer Mister Yan smiling and informing Wei that he had been preparing this plan for a long time, and had learned how to block his thoughts from being read. The screen was switched off, causing Lin Jing to shout before he lost the connection,
"Be careful Shen Wei, we'll find him."
Lin Jing grabbed the phone and dialled Gelan, still in shock after what he had been shown, relieved to hear the sound of her voice.
"Shen Wei's in trouble. He contacted me telepathically and was able to show me who is responsible and what their plans are for Yunlan, if they don't get what they want, he's in an old hospital, but he's still unconscious and restrained in a bed, with a guy standing over him holding a syringe which is the main threat for Shen Wei. We can search for the old hospital but I'll have to say the info came from your side, and we'll check the lawyer's background."
"Be careful Lin Jing, tell me when you find him and I'm sending two special guards who can help you."
Lin Jing's hands were shaking after he replaced the receiver, now he had to inform his team and he badly wanted some hot sweet coffee, thankfully someone had left a mug lying on the first desk that he passed and he drank a couple of mouthfuls checking for sugar before he called for everyone's attention.
