Sidharth's P.O.V.

I waited in the room as Shehnaaz was in the bathroom, pacing up and down, rubbing my hands together, nervously as I thought of a way to do something romantic for her. I wanted to do something extra special for her since our love confessions weren't as extravagant. I want to show her how much I love her and how much she meant to me. The shower stopped and she stuck her head outside the door, wet. "Sidharth," she said, frowning. "What's wrong?" I asked. "Please, hand me a towel. I forgot it outside and there isn't any inside here," she said, pouting. "Yeah, sure," I said, getting one from the cupboard. Just as I reached her and she grabbed it, a naughty idea slipped into my head. "Thank you," she said, pulling it however, I held onto it tightly. She looked at me as her cheeks turned crimson, blushing. "What are you doing? Let go," she said, looking away shyly. "Uhhh uhhh," I said, playfully, leaning against the door frame, "You ran away from me, didn't you? Now it's payback time." "Sidharth, let go. If someone comes...." she said but I cut her off saying, "No one is going to come inside your room this hour. Don't worry, no one will disturb us." "You are...." she said, looking away and stopped. "I am....?" I asked. "Impossible!" She said. "You chose me. Now, tolerate your choice," I said. "What do I have to do?" She asked, chuckling, bending her head. "I...." I started, "Want....a....kiss." She raised her eyes and looked at me. "That's it?" She asked. "If you want to give me more than that you are most welcome to," I said, slightly pushing the door open. "No no no no no...." she said, holding onto the door, cautiously, "Come closer." I bent closer to her slowly and she planted a sweet kiss on my cheek, making me turn red along with her. "Now my morning is sweet," I said.

I released the towel and she closed the door, shaking her head as I ran my hand through my hair, flushed. I didn't think it was appropriate to remain in her room while she changed and decided to give her some privacy. Knocking on the door, she answered me from inside the bathroom, "Yes!" "I'm going downstairs. Get ready and come, okay?" I said. "Okay," she said. I left the room and went downstairs while checking my emails on my phone. The sun was rising slowly and the breeze was cool. I wanted to get through as much emails as I can before Shehnaaz joins me for breakfast so that I can give her all my time and attention. My life was going to be much better now and a lot more special from today. I spent some time in going through my inbox and as I turned around, I saw Shehnaaz emerging at the top of the stairs. She literally took my breath away as my heartbeat fastened. My eyes were glued onto her without even giving my brain a chance to allow them to blink. She was absolutely stunning. She looked beautiful every other day as well but the difference in her glow today was visible which made her even more gorgeous. She came down like an angel and approached me with a smile as I couldn't take my eyes off of her for a single moment. I couldn't believe that she was made for me and I have her for the rest of my life. As she stopped beside me, I stood up, mesmerised. "Beautiful," I let slip out my mouth as she lowered her head, tucked her hair behind her ear and blushed. I pulled out the chair for her like a gentleman and then took back my seat. "What do you want to eat for breakfast? I will make it for you," she said. "Don't do anything. Just sit right here, let me look at you," I said, holding my stare on her. "Sidharth," she said, holding my hand, looking around, embarrassed, "Keep your romantic lines for when it's both of us alone."

"I can still control my tongue but what do I do about these eyes? They aren't willing to move away from you," I said. "You have got talks," she said, smirking. "Not talks. My feelings. The truth," I said. "By the way, you aren't looking less handsome yourself," she said, teasingly, "Why not cancel office today and go on a date?" "I am ready," I said. "I'm joking," she said, "Listen, we are now starting this relationship. I don't want to change you. I love you exactly the way you are. Workaholic, always keeping your priorities straight, hardworking. I want that Sidharth." I held onto her hand, smiling at her words as I said, "My first priority before was work but now, you are my number one priority and I am not going to compromise with that. I will work, but only so that I can give you the best life you can live. Nothing will be above you." She smiled at me as she pinched my cheeks, pulling them, saying, "Okay, my darling sweetheart." I kissed her knuckles. "I am starving! I haven't eaten a single meal yesterday," she said, frowning like a baby. "What?!" I exclaimed, "Why?" "You know what happened yesterday, I didn't have any appetite," she said. "Don't ever do this, do you understand?" I scolded her. I got up and went into the kitchen. Taking off my blazer, I wore an apron and picked up a few vegetables. Shehnaaz looked at me with her mouth open as she asked, chuckling, "What are you doing?" "Can't you see? I am cooking for you," I said, sternly. "Awwww...." she said, sitting on the counter tops, "So sweet you are!" She grabbed a carrot and began eating it as she looked at me, amused, chopping onions with tears flowing down my cheeks. I decided to play a small prank on her and while she was looking away, I quickly put some ketchup on my finger and let out a fake scream, "Ouch!!!! Ahhhh!!!!"
