What Matters Is What's on the Inside (jensen ackles)

Pairing: Jensen Ackles x Female!Reader

Warnings: angst, starving oneself to the point of hospitalization, fluff/comfort at the end

Summary: You over hear Jared and Jensen talking, and your weight comes up in conversation. Maybe if you can shed the extra pounds, you'll be pretty for Jensen again, and you'll do anything to achieve that.

Jensen doesn't know you're here, only the director. You've made plans to see your boyfriend for weeks now since it's been two since you last saw him. It's been two weeks since you've kissed him, touched him, and fucked him. It's been a lonely two weeks, but you made a deal with the director that you'll be here a week, and he'll keep Jensen's scenes to a minimum. It's why he's been working him like a dog these past two weeks knowing you were coming.

Both he and Jared are in the makeshift breakroom that the producers set up. It's a tent located in between the two set buildings that anyone can come in and eat and chat. Jensen and Jared are taking a small break before they continue with their scene, and Jared grabs some of the small cakes to munch on.

After hearing from the director that Jensen is in the break room, you immediately head over there. You're notorious for scaring him, so this is the perfect time to get the jump on him. You sneak over to the entrance to the tent and overhear Jared and Jensen talking.

"How are you and Y/N doing?" Jared asks.

"We're doing really well. She actually just started this new job that she's been excited over for months. She's been there for a while, and she loves it. I couldn't be happier for her."

Your heart swells in happiness at hearing your boyfriend say this. It's true. This new job is something you've always wanted to do, and it's in the field you went to school for.

"I hope this doesn't come across as me being a dick, but I noticed Y/N has put on some weight. I'm just wondering if everything is okay? Gen has been working hard on her own body, and I bet she'd be willing to help Y/N."

This is what throws you off. You frown and look at your body. You never saw an issue with the way you look, but hearing one of your good friends say something about it puts doubts you never knew you had inside your head. You peer around the corner where you can see Jared and Jensen.

You're curious as to how he will respond.

"Yeah, I've noticed it too."

Hear that? That's the sound of your heart breaking. Before Jensen can say more about it, his gorgeous new costar walks in through the side flap. She is super thin and fit, and she looks like a model. The writers thought it was a good idea to add in a female hunter to help the brothers, and they chose her.

"Who put on some weight?" she asks and grabs a healthy snack from the table.

"y/N."

"You know, I stick to a certain diet at home. I can teach you some recipes I use so she can shed those extra pounds."

Your depression kicks into overdrive, and you can't listen to this anymore. How could Jensen talk about you like this? You thought he loved everything about you. Tears form in your eyes, and you quickly leave so you don't have to endure the humiliation anymore.

When you're far enough away from them to where you can't hear them, Jensen responds.

"Yeah, she's put on a little weight, but I think she's the most beautiful woman I've ever laid my eyes on. I don't care if she blows up like a balloon or is the same size as you. I love her regardless."
