What he wouldn't give to see the color of your eyes, hear your voice, feel your touch, and taste your lips again. All the doctors could do was wait for you to wake up if you were even going to. Castiel has been MIA for a while, and despite him heavily praying to the angel, there was no way he was coming down anytime soon. The only other person who could potentially heal you was Jack, but he was missing as well.

Sam tried for the Nephilim while Dean kept trying for the Angel, but the only thing they could do was wait. It was killing him to see you like this, but he didn't know what else to do right now.

"Please wake up. Do you hear me? I need you to wake up. You're strong, sweetheart. A lot stronger than me, so I know you can pull through this. Just come back to me because I need you," he whispered to your body.

"I do hear you, Dean. I'm right here!" you yelled as you stood next to your body and across from Dean and a sleeping Sam. No matter how hard you yelled for Dean, he couldn't seem to hear you. He couldn't feel your touch, and there was no way of knowing you were even in the room.

"I'm trying to come back, but it's hard!" you sighed as you gave up on trying to communicate with him. Instead of staring at him as he watched you, you decided to roam the hospital to see if you could try and figure out what was happening to you. This was just like any other case, and you were going to work it like you knew how.

"Hello! Is anyone there?" you heard a woman say as she roamed the halls. Thanking that there was someone who might be able to talk to you, you rushed over to the dark-haired woman who smiled once she found you.

"Hi!" you greeted.

"Thank God. I thought I was going crazy," she laughed.

"Do you know what is happening here? Or to us? I can't seem to get my boyfriend to talk to me much less hear me."

"The same thing happened to me with my family. Where is your room?" she asked.

"Right down the hall. Come on," you said as you led her to the room that was filled with another person.

"Where the hell have you been?!" Dean yelled at the young angel which woke up Sam.

"I'm sorry, I was busy."

"Busy for a fucking week? Look at her!" he exclaimed as he pointed to your body.

"What happened?" Jack asked as he approached your still body.

"She was shot by a demon who didn't know how to use a gun. Heal her," he growled.

"I'm not sure that I can."

"Heal! Her! I won't ask again!" he screamed.

"Dean, calm down," Sam said as he placed a hand on his brother's shoulders.

"I'm dead?" you asked as you looked at the woman who just smiled at you.

"Not quite. My name is Tessa, and I'm–"

"I know who you are. Dean's mentioned you a few times before. You are not human, are you? You're a reaper."

"Yes, I am. I didn't want to frighten you with my true form which is why I look like this. But, it's time to make a decision. I would very much like it if you came with me."

"Hell no. I have faith in Jack that he is going to pull me out of this," you said as you looked back at the trio. Jack's eyes were glowing yellow as he touched his body, but nothing was happening. Dean was yelling at him, but you weren't listening to what he was saying.

"He might not accomplish what you hope. I am here to guide you to where you're meant to be."

"Where I'm meant to be is alive with the love of my life and his brother. Look, I'm sure you're just doing your job, but I don't need any help."

"If you choose to stay, then that's it. If he can't revive you, then you're stuck as a ghost until they are forced to kill you once you become violent. I've seen it happen. Coming with me means they can start to move on without you."

"No. I am not leaving with you. Go back to wherever you came from because I'm fine where I am."

"Please consider it, Y/N. I've seen what happens. Everyone who stays there–" she was interrupted by you being forced back into your body. She smiled sadly as you were no longer dead or on the verge of dying. "Don't worry, Y/N. I'll reap you one day."

As soon as your eyes opened, you started choking on the tube that was stuck down your throat. Sam immediately left to get a doctor while Dean hugged the kid tightly.

"Thank you," he whispered as tears formed.

"You're welcome," Jack hugged back.

"No, really, thank you. I don't know what I would do without her in my life."

"I think she might need you now," he whispered as Dean let go of him. He came into your view as Sam and a doctor returned to your room.

"You're going to be okay, Y/N. You're going to be just fine," he said as the doctor began to remove the tube. You were alive, you were here, and it was all thanks to Jack. Man, he didn't know what he would do without the people he had in his life.
