Warnings: just fluff

Summary: You smile every time you find Dean after you've lost him, and he'll do anything to keep that smile on your face.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The mall you and Dena are at is crowded. He wanted to go on a weekday to avoid the cluster of people, but it still seems to be busy. It doesn't matter if kids are in school–parents will always find a way to go places when they don't have their kids, and families will take the day to spend time with each other.

Dean wouldn't worry so much if you don't always get lost. He has to always be by your side because if he leaves, even for a second, then you will get lost. It's worse in malls than most since you get so distracted by everything in the windows.

"Let's try not to get lost this time, yeah?"

"I won't," you say, a bit distracted already.

Your mind is clearly elsewhere, so Dean lets go of your hand to test out a theory. He wants to know how long it will take you to realize he is gone from your side. Dean watches you head to the nearest store where there are bags and other accessories in the window for people to look at when they pass by.

You get so excited by what you see that you turn to Dean only to realize he's not next to you.

You look around for your tall boyfriend, but through the crowd, it's hard to pick him out. Dean stands off to the side with his arms crossed, watching you silently freak out. It takes you three minutes to find him, and when you do, your entire body is relieved.

A big smile spreads across your face, little wrinkles form at the corners of your eyes, and your eyes light up. Dean loves seeing those eye crinkles, and they pop up every time you find him. You push past people and rush into his arms, hugging him tightly.

"I thought I lost you," you grin.

"I'm right here," he chuckles and kisses your head.

"Come on, I found Forever 21."

You drag him over to the store and immediately head to your favorite section. Once you find something you like, you can really spend a couple of hours inside. Dean had a big lunch earlier, and the extra large drink he had is catching up to him.

"I'll be right back. I have to go to the bathroom."

You mutter something that can pass as a response, but you're distracted by all the clothes. Dean leaves your side and heads to the bathroom, quickly doing his thing. He's gone for only ten minutes, and when he returns, you're looking around for him like you did earlier.

You're about to talk to an associate when you spot him across the store. The same big smile and eye crinkles form on your face, and you rush over to him to give him a big hug.

"I thought I lost you."

"I told you I was going to the bathroom," he laughs.

"You know I get distracted easily.

"Okay, I think that's enough mall time for you. Why don't we head back home and we can watch Halloween movies?"

"I like that plan better," you chuckle.

Dean escorts you out of the store after you pay for the things in your hand. The mall is located next to a parking garage, so you walk from the exit across the street to where your car is parked.

Like before, you get distracted by your phone, and you practically have your nose shoved in it. Dean takes this as his last opportunity to see those adorable eye crinkles. He stops walking and watches as you continue on as if he is next to you. Only until you get about six cars away from him do you realize that he isn't next to you.

"Are you going to do this all day?" you laugh and turn to him.

There go those eye crinkles.

"I can't help it. You're too damn cute."

"Let's go home," you giggle and hold out your hand for him.

Dean jogs over to you and wraps an arm around your shoulders, kissing the top of your head.
