Just In Time Part 36

Jay and Felix were walking back to the house "Jay why weren't my grandparents happy to see you?" he asked. Jay put his arm around his shoulder "it's complicated mate, but the main thing is I'm here now. You and me we're brothers if you ever need me just let me know" he said. Felix smiled, he had always wanted an older brother and now he had one, not to mention his brother was an ex professional rugby player.

After the drama of what happened earlier, Fiona walked over to Jay and hugged him "I'm so sorry honey. You are wanted by me and this family" she said "thankyou it means a lot" he said and returned the hug. The group then ate and had a few drinks together. After a few hours, Raquelle drove home, she noticed Jay had been quiet. She pulled into the driveway, she put her hand on his knee "you okay gorgeous?" she asked "uh yeah" he said. "You know what your grandparents said was completely untrue. They are the only ones who think that, your amazing and everything to me. I hate the fact that two old people stuck in their ways made you feel like you weren't good enough. When in fact their not good enough to have too you in their life" she said. "I love you and so do so many other people. Please try and forget what they said cause their obviously stupid, crazy or both" she said. He smiled leaned in and kissed her "thankyou for that beautiful. Thankyou for sticking up for me earlier and just being incredible and having my back. I love you so much" he said and kissed her again. "You ready for the charity gala tonight?" she asked. He looked at her and groaned "I forgot about that" he said "cmon it's for Selena. You'll have fun" she said. "I'm doing it for you and Selena only" he said looking at her, she kissed him softly. He returned the kiss.

They got out the car, Raquelle locked it and then unlocked the front door. They walked into the house, Raquelle put the keys on the table in the hall. Jay wrapped his arms around her waist and kissed her shoulder. "What times the gala?" he asked "we need to leave at like 7" she said, turning around in his arms. She wrapped her arms around his neck, he kissed her softly putting his hands on her waist, pulling her closer. She intensified the kiss as he pulled her closer until there was no space between them. He grabbed and caressed her butt, pulling her into his groin, so she could feel him. She moaned softly, she pulled away grabbed his hand, she smiled coyly and took him to the bedroom.

Jay kissed his fiance's head as her head was on his chest. They both lay naked in bed together and her pulled her closer. She traced the tattoo on his chest "we should get ready" she said. He nodded as she got up. He watched her, she noticed, as she got up and walked to the bathroom "you coming or what?" she asked looking at him. He shot out of bed and walked to the bathroom. She giggled as he kissed her neck as they walked into the bathroom.

Jay fixed his tie in the mirror, "you look very handsome" Raquelle said. He looked at her "thanks baby. You look so beautiful" he said. She smiled and walked over to him, she fixed his shirt and straightened his tie. He put his hands on her waist and leaned down. He kissed her softly, he pulled away "I love you, you look so beautiful tonight and always I'm so lucky to have you" he whispered. She smiled and wrapped her arms around his neck. He kissed her softly again, she returned the kiss.

The pair then left and got in the waiting car to the charity gala. They arrived, got out the car and went into the venue. Jay took Raquelles hand as they walked into the venue. Raquelle saw her friends and she walked over with Jay to the group of girls. She introduced Jay to the friends he hadn't met yet. "Let's see the ring!" Brianna one of the friends said. "Yeah let's see it" Sarah, another one of the girls said. "Oh my god it's gorgeous. Jay did so well" Brianna said "yeah it's beautiful" Sarah said. The other girls admired it. Raquelle smiled at Jay "I'm gonna get a drink and say hello to Benny. Do you want a prosecco?" he asked "yeah please baby" she said. "Okay see you in a minute" he winked. He kissed her softly and walked over to the bar.

Jay walked over to the bar where Benny was. "Heya man. I'm so glad you could come" Benny smiled "hey mate" Jay said and returning the hug. "How was it at your biological mom's earlier" he asked "yeah it was alright. Howve you been? he asked "yeah not bad mate" he said. Jay looked over at where Selena was "isn't that the Edgar dude?" Jay asked. Benny took a sip and nodded "yup that's him. But apparently the video the other week meant nothing. " he said. Jay nodded "yeah I know what you're thinking but I trust Sel" he said "yeah fair enough mate." Jay said, he knew he wanted to say that if that was Raquelle the other man wouldn't be breathing. But instead he changed the subject. 

He saw Raquelle talking to a tall long haired man, she seemed to be annoyed with him. He excused himself walked over the closer he got the more he looked to be one of the waiters. He walked over to his fiance "everything okay?" he asked "this doesn't concern you dude" the man said "when your upsetting my fiance it does" Jay said protectively. "Baby it's fine. Jack was just leaving" she said "think about what I said" he said and walked away. She then chugged her prosecco, that jay handed her "wow" he said. Raquelle then wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him deeply, he was startled and then kissed back "what was that for?" he asked once they pulled away "I'm so lucky to have you. I love you so much" she said. He smiled "I love you too, who was that guy?" he asked "my ex...he cheated on me with a girl I called a friend. Six months he cheated on me with her....now they broke up and he wants me back. I told him that there was no chance in hell that would ever happen as I was engaged to the most amazing man, who is ten times the man that he will ever be" Raquelle said her arms wrapped around jays neck. He smiled and blushed "i love you so much you know that" he said "I love you too" she said.

An hour later

Jay walked over to the bar with benny and got another drink. They had been chatting all night with Selena and Benny. "Can I get two beers and two gin and lemonades" he asked. The barman turned around it was Raquelles ex. He glared at Jay and got the beers, Jay looked at him "is there a problem?" he asked "yeah there is. You stole the love of my life off me" Jack said. Benny looked confused "dude your the one who cheated on her and besides we met when she was single and unlike you I have shown her how she should be treated" he said "whatever dude. She'll come crawling back to me" he said. Jay nodded "yeah I mean once she gets sick of being spoilt everyday, being loved and adored in every way possible....I'm sure she will. You don't intimidate me. If you keep being an asshole to us I will make sure you never work as a waiter ever again" he said "ok...what you gonna do" he smirked "my family have a reputation in Hollywood once people hear your a rude arrogant asshole they won't want to hire you. Your choice. I'm gonna take these drinks and enjoy the rest of my night. Have a good one" he said.
