Just In Time Part 37

Jay walked over to Raquelle with the the drinks. He passed them over to Selena, Benny and Raquelle. He kissed Raquelles cheek softly "you are the most beautiful girl here tonight" he whispered as he pulled her closer to his waist. She smiled, blushed and looked at him. He leant down and kissed her softly, she returned the kiss. "You look gorgeous by the way" she said "thanks baby" he smiled and kissed her forehead.

Jay and Raquelle spent the rest of the night with each other, whilst Raquelles ex watched from afar jealous and frustrated. They didn't care though, all they cared about was each other.

A Month Later.

Raquelle uploaded a video of her and Jay on tik took trying to do choreographed dance moves and failing miserably and other videos of them together. They were now going to be on a podcast with one of Raquelle's best friends Tanya. They walked into the room and hugged her and said hello. They both sat on the couch. "Hey guys we are joined by one of my best friends Raquelle, who is one of Selena Gomez's executive assistant and just a queen and her awesome fiancé, ex pro rugby player and now coach for USA rugby Jay. Hey guys" she said. They both said hello "so it's awesome both having you on here, I'm so thrilled you guys are engaged and that we are both engaged at the same time. I am always excited to hear when guys or girls decided to propose" she asked. Jay looked at Raquelle "it was a no brainer. It wasn't a decision I made, it was natural like breathing. I knew I wanted to see her eyes, her smile, her beauty for the rest of my days. The day I fell inlove with her I knew I wanted to propose" he said looking at Raquelle, he took her hand and kissed softly "my fiance better be taking notes. I love it" Tanya laughed. "Raq, so tell me how did he do it?" she asked "yeah so he was very sneaky, and sent me on a scavenger hunt on my birthday with a few of my friends. Then the last clue he was there with a box on one knee" she smiled. "That's so cute. I love it" she smiled "Jay so I wanted to ask you rugby is making a name for itself in the USA. Whats your opinion on that" she asked "I love it. I've grown up playing rugby, it's such an inclusive sport that anyone can play. I love the fact that instead of the mens team taking the forefront it's the women's team. Ilhona Maher is making really big waves for the name of women's rugby in the USA and it's so inspiring, but because of that she's now making waves in the UK playing for Brighton" he said "what would you say to anyone thinking about playing it" she asked "I would say go for it. Just go to training it's such a great sport" he said "I love that. Raquelle did you watch any of his games?" she asked "I did yeah. I think I held my breath the whole way through, just praying to god that he didn't hurt himself. But we met nearer to the end of his playing career which I'm very thankful for as I don't think I couldve watched that" she asked looking at Jay. He smiled at her, took her hand and kissed it.

Later that year

Jay and Raquelle married in a ceremony with family and friends. A few months after that Raquelle became pregnant with their first child, who they named Thomas after Jays best friend.
Two years later they had their second child and named her Eleanor.

They loved and lived happily ever after.

Some would say they met just in time.
