"My cold dark tower seems so bright. I swear it must be Heaven's Light"

Noble Bell College

The groups began to prepare to go their separate ways. Y/n had been assigned to accompany Isfrid, Noé, Grim, and—unfortunately—Vanitas, under Professor Trein's supervision.

Azul's smile didn't waver, but a subtle tension coiled around him like a constricting ribbon. His fingers briefly tightened on the folded itinerary in his hand, the creases sharper than before.

"Now, I believe Group A consisted of myself, Deuce, and Epel, correct?" Azul asked with syrupy calm, glancing toward the two underclassmen.

"Yes, sir! I'm ready when you are, Azul," Deuce said eagerly. He and Epel were practically bouncing.

"Where should we start?" Epel asked, looking around at the grand cityscape.

"Do either of you have anything you'd especially like to do?" Azul adjusted the new glasses on his face with practiced grace, though his gaze briefly flicked toward Y/n's retreating form, sharp and unblinking.

"I'm not sure...I haven't actually been on many trips before," Deuce admitted, rubbing the back of his neck.

"Same..." Epel admitted too. "But I guess I'd like to do something you can only do here," he remarked.

"Rather vague answers, but not unexpected ones," Azul sighed, though it was more amused than irritated.

Azul's tone brightened like polished silver. "I had a feeling you wouldn't have any specific ideas. You're in luck, though! I did research beforehand and formulated some plans."

He folded his arms, voice dipped in charm. "Now, if you ask me what should be prioritized on a trip...I would say gustatory, olfactory, and tactile experiences. You can't get those through books or the internet, after all. I believe cuisine is the most efficient way to understand a local culture since it develops according to the region's very soul."

He paused, briefly imagining feeding Y/n himself—watching her lips brush the spoon he offered.

"What would the two of you say to that approach?" he asked, tone too pleasant.

"Uhhh..." Deuce blinked.

"...I'm losing you both, aren't I?" Azul sighed, expression flat for just a moment. Then he smiled again, sharp and honeyed. "I'm suggesting we go eat some of the local foods," he explained it easier for the two to understand.

"Oh, I get it now!" Deuce beamed. "Sounds good to me. I was just getting a little hungry,"

"I'm up for that too!" Epel added, smiling brightly.

Azul nodded."I trust you have the Fleur City maps you were given beforehand? Let's visit the busiest part of town first,"

"Okay!" Epel and Deuce nodded.
