Rebecca started to walk closer to Derek when Gary pointed the gun at her. April tried to pull her back.

"You were there, I remember you being there"

Rebecca put her hands up. "You don't need to do this"

Gary cocked the gun and still had it aimed at her. April then walked up to them and positioned herself in front of Rebecca, and Gary pulled the gun to his side.

"April what are you doing?" Rebecca whispered to her.

"Making sure you don't get shot" April whispered back.

"April you don't need to protect me"

"Yes I do, because I'm not letting another person I care about get shot"

Gary then aimed the gun at April. "My name... My name is April Kepner. I'm 28 years old. I... I was born on April 23 in O--in Ohio. I'm from Columbus, Ohio. I'm... My mom--my mom is teacher, and m-my dad is a farmer-- corn-- c-corn-- he--he--he grows corn. Their--their names are Karen and Joe. I have three sisters. Libby's the oldest. I'm--I'm next, and then there's Kimmie, than Alice. I-I-I-I haven't done anything yet. I haven't... I've barely lived. I--I'm not finished yet. No one'a loved me yet. Please. Please. I'm someone's child. I'm a person. I'm a person" April said with her hands up in the air.

April then took off and grabbed Rebecca's wrist and dragged her when her.

Rebecca was walking down the hall when she ran into Mr. Clark.

"Oh, Mr. Clark"

"I didn't plan to shoot all those people"

"Of... Of course you didn't. You were... Sad, you were-- you were grieving"

"I only planned to shoot Dr. Shepherd... And Dr. Webber... And you" Gary said and raised the gun at her. "You unplugged the machines... Your hands killed my Alison"

Gary then pulled the trigger right as he went down and the bullet lodged into her shoulder. And Rebecca went down and gripped her shoulder. Rebecca looked to her side and saw the swat team walking closer. And Rebecca then got up while putting her pressure on her shoulder and walked away.

Rebecca then walked into the scrub room where Meredith and April are and Owen was behind her.

"Becca! Owen! Thank god. Derek has been shot. No one was down here. We didn't know what to do, Cristina's in there. She told me not to look. But she might need help"
