Rebecca was at the nurse station looking over some charts when Lexie and Eli walked up to her at the nurse station.

"Um, did you send Mr. Rabb's sample of pancreatic fluid to the lab yet?" Lexie asked.

"Not yet," Eli told her

Rebecca took a glance at Lexie and then went back to looking at the charts.

"Uh, I asked for it over an hour ago"

"Yeah, I was letting him rest. He didn't sleep much last night"

Jackson then walked by with Mrs. Kay, helping her move around when he said in a singsongy voice. "Dr. Grey, check out Mrs. Kay," he said and then went back to normal voice. "Day three post-op, no fistula. Already walking right away, eating right away, isn't that right, Mrs. Kay?"

"Can I go back to bed now? I'm tired"

"One more lap"

Rebecca shook her head at Jackson. "Avery if she passes out it's your fault"

April then walked up to them. "Okay, there is no evidence that shows getting patients up faster makes any difference at all"

Rebecca shakes her head and grabs the charts to put them up. "There's not," she said and began to walk away.

Rebecca was sitting down with Jackson, April, and Lexie. She was eating her lunch with them.

"Mm. Anybody want my soup? It's reminding me of pancreatic fluid" Jackson said sitting down and placing his soup on the table.

"Oh, mm-hmm. Then I definitely want it"

"Sparkle. That was the name of my pony" April said out of nowhere.

Rebecca looked over at April with a weird look, since she wasn't expecting her to say that.

"Dr. Kenner, your patient, Mrs. Hathaway just came into the E.R.  She's in septic shock. C.T. showed a Fistula. Dr. Bailey wants you in O.R. 2 right away" Eli said coming into the room.

"No. Mrs. Hathaway? We just discharged her three days ago. She was fine!" April said getting up and grabbing some papers and rushing out of the room.

Rebecca shook her head a little and stood up and went back to work even though she hasn't really been doing much, at work that day since she doesn't have any surgery scheduled or any patients at the moment that didn't need surgery.

When do you think April and Rebecca should get together? Sometime before the boards? Or after? I think I might know when I will get them together I just want to see what you guys think.
