This warehouse was massive. Multiple stories, countless guards, security cameras, and sensor alerts. It was highly protected, technically advanced, and overcrowded. This was going to be a challenge.
"I suggest Tony and I shut their system down. It won't last long, but long enough to get them all outside if we have a good enough distraction." Victoria suggested.
Bucky nodded in agreement, looking at everyone. "What kind of distraction?" He asked. He turned his attention to Bruce, assuming he was the distraction.
Steve chimed in before anyone else answered. "We could blow something up?" He said. It was a logical distraction, fake an attack to lure everyone to once exit and then storm into another.
Victoria interrupted while Tony figured out where he'd plant the bomb. "I can be bait. Take me a town or two over. You know they're watching the area and let their people storm out of their to come get me." She said. She knew they'd been looking for her, so she knew they'd send as many men as possible if they thought they saw her nearby.
Bucky shook his head no, firmly. "Not fucking happening." He said sternly.
Steve crossed his arms across his broad chest, nodding in agreement. "We do not use people as bait. We'll bomb them like I planned." He stated.
Nat chimed in at that, coming to stand beside Victoria. "Tori is right. If we bomb them, they'll be ready. They'll arm their men and when they come back in, they'll be on high alert. But if she's the bait, they'll leave the base and we can walk right in the door. Send several of us to protect her and she'll be fine." She argued.
Victoria cleared her throat, somewhat glaring at Nat. "I can protect myself." She stated firmly.
Steve didn't care about the rest of the team knowing anymore. He approached Victoria, holding onto her face with both hands. "You're a fool if you think I'd risk anything happening to you, sugar." He said sternly to her. Victoria didn't even have a response, she didn't even register the few of the team that didn't know seeing this. She just felt him holding onto her face. "You're sticking with Buck and I, it's not an option." He added in before she could argue. But she couldn't think of anything to say other than to stare up at him.
Bucky noticed Wanda, Clint, and Bruce staring at the two seemingly lost. He figured he'd join in, why not? Everyone else knew anyway. He came up behind Victoria, putting his hands around her waist and holding onto her toned stomach. "Doll, were not going to let anything happen to you. Not when we're trying to have a baby. You have to listen to us." He said quietly into her ear.
Tony cleared his throat, breaking their moment up. He was exhausted and grumpy and just wanted to go home. "Anyway. I'll set the bomb, I'm already sending some unmanned suits a few miles away to lure them away from this place." He said with a yawn.

Getting into the building felt a little too easy, but nobody was complaining. Steve, Bucky, and Victoria stuck together as long as they could, but they knew the super soldiers couldn't stay together. They needed to stretch their resources as much as possible. So, Steve broke off from the two. "Protect her with your life." He said to Bucky.
Bucky glared at Steve, wrapping his arm around Victoria and pulling her into his side. "I always will, you know that." He said confidently.
Steve leaned in, stealing a breathtaking kiss from Victoria. "I love you, Vic. Behave and stay with Buck." He said sternly.
Victoria rolled her eyes but nodded and stole another kiss from him. "I love you." She said back. She already knew she wasn't going to promise to behave, but she knew Bucky wouldn't leave her side, either.
Victoria and Bucky headed towards the lab, intending to find her blood and hopefully the scientist while Steve and several others went to find Walker. They knew he wouldn't be in the lab. No, he'd be with his soldiers or with any captives he'd collected throughout this time.
Bucky kept himself in front of Victoria, but he also kept his eyes on her at all times. He knew she was capable, but he'd never forgive himself if anything happened to her.
Bucky heard a gunshot from behind him, thankfully missing both of them. But when he heard it again, he grabbed into Victoria and pulled her in front of him just seconds before the searing pain of a bullet in his back hit him. He grunted in pain, spinning around and shooting the shooter a second later. But the damage was done. He felt the blood, he felt the exit wound and even heard Victoria scream and clutch onto her chest.
Bucky ignored the pain radiating in his back and his legs seemingly feeling like they wouldn't work like they should. He guided Victoria to sit on the floor and ripped her suit open, revealing the bullet lodged into her heavy breast. He thanked anyone who was listening that he'd slowed the bullet down enough that it only lodged itself in her breast instead of going through her heart. "Vic, are you okay?" He asked calmly. He held onto her face with both hands, having to ignore the black spots dancing in his vision and the pain radiating in his back and his stomach.
Victoria got on her comms, frantically begging for Steve. "Steve! Buck and I are hit, you have to find us, he's about to pass out." She said. She held onto Bucky's face, tapping him and begging him to stay awake. "Please don't die on me, I love you! I can't be without you." She begged of him.
Bucky sleepily held onto her face as well, smiling at her as best as he could. "Are you okay?" He kept asking, ignoring his own pain and how cold and pale he felt. He knew he was losing too much blood, he just couldn't seem to make himself do anything but think about her.
Victoria ripped her shirt off, shoving it into Bucky's open wound in his chisled stomach. "Steve, hurry the fuck up! He's bleeding!" She cried into comms. She couldn't lose him like this. She couldn't even focus on the burning pain in her chest from the bullet lodging itself into her. No, she cared about Bucky right now.
Steve rushed through this warehouse as fast as possible, leaving the rest of the team to fend for themselves, but Tony was right on his tail and so was Peter. They were both terrified about Victoria and Bucky being hurt, especially since Bucky wasn't answering any of his comms.
Victoria pressed into his bleeding wound as hard as she could, straddling his hips and begging him to wake up for her. But he'd passed out shortly after she'd promised him that she was okay. But it wasn't true, she'd never be okay again if she lost one of her guys. She couldn't be. Not without them.
Steve made it to Bucky and Victoria, practically sliding on his knees to get to them. He panicked when he saw blood oozing from Victoria's chest. "You're hit. Fuck, let me see." He demanded.
Victoria smacked his hand away, crying profusely. "No! Help Buck! I can't lose him, we can't lose him." She begged. But Steve hoisted her up into his arms. He ignored her protests to be held and pressed her chest into his. "Vic, stop. Let me help you." He said sternly while Tony and Peter rushed to help Bucky.
Victoria watched in terror while the two tried to help Bucky, her tears refusing to stop. "Help me by saving him!" She said frantically.
Tony and Peter quickly got Bucky loaded onto a stretcher, rushing him out of the building while Steve ran to follow. "We're helping him, it's gonna be okay, Tor." Peter promised her. But she refused to hear it. She held his hand while Steve carried her out of there. She had to ignore how cold his skin felt and how weak his pulse felt. But he was alive.
