Disguised as a civilian dressed in a hoody, Steve goes back to the hospital to retrieve the flash drive from the vending machine but he quickly sees that it is gone.
His heart drops to his feet, his hand coming up to the glass, only to see Natasha appear behind him chewing some gum.
In anger, Steve pushes her into a room "Where is it?" Steve asks "Safe." Natasha says "Do better!" Steve says "Where did you get it?" Natasha asked, "Why would I tell you?" Steve asks
"Fury gave it to you. Why?" Natasha asks "What's on it?" Steve asks "I don't know." Natasha says
"Stop lying!" Steve yells
"I only act like I know everything, Rogers." Natasha says "I bet you knew Fury hired the pirates, didn't you?" Steve asks
"Well, it makes sense. The ship was dirty, Fury needed a way in, and so did you." Natasha says "I'm not gonna ask you again." Steve says
"I know who killed Fury. Most of the intelligence community doesn't believe he exists, the ones who do call him the Winter Soldier. He's credited with over two dozen assassinations in the last fifty years." Natasha says
"So he's a ghost story," Steve says
"Five years ago I was escorting a nuclear engineer out of Iran, somebody shot out my tires near Odessa. We lost control and went straight over a cliff, I pulled us out, but the Winter Soldier was there. I was covering my engineer, so he shot him straight through me." Natasha says she pulls up her shirt to show him the scar on the side of her stomach. "Soviet slug, no rifling. Bye-bye bikinis." Natasha says
"Yeah, I bet you look terrible in them now," Steve says
There's a hint of a smile from Natasha "Going after him is a dead end. I know, I've tried." Natasha holds up the flash drive. "Like you said, he's a ghost story," Natasha says
Steve takes the flash drive from her "Well, let's find out what the ghost wants." Steve says
"We should call Sloan." Nat states
Steve kisses his teeth. "I don't want to bring him into this. This is my mess." Steve says
Natasha smirks. "What scared to disappoint big bro?" Natasha asks
Steve rolls his eyes. "He's older like five minutes." Steve says "It would do us good to have a trained mutant on our side." Natasha pinpoints.
Steve sighs, looking off. "Yeah." He huffs
