You're the devil in disguise

The Avengers are on an aircraft heading out of Sokovia. Natasha walks over to Bruce who is sitting alone, listening to opera with his headphones on, and eyes closed to keep himself calm.

Banner inhales sharply when he feels the headphones lift, making him look up. Natasha offers him a small smile. "Hey, the lullaby worked better than ever." Natasha says "Just wasn't expecting the Code Green." Banner says with a small sigh.

Natasha shakes her head softly. "If you hadn't been there, there would've been double the casualties. My best friend would've been a treasured memory." Natasha says, she gently runs a hand through his hair, soothing him.

Bruce sighs, leaning into her touch. "You know, sometimes exactly what I want to hear isn't exactly what I want to hear." Banner says

"How long before you trust me?" Natasha asks "It's not you I don't trust." Banner says

Natasha straightens up, looking over towards the god who was standing beside the scepter. "Thor, report on the Hulk?" Natasha asks, catching his attention. Thor grins widely. "The gates of Hell are filled with the screams of his victims." Thor says, approaching the two and rasing a mighty fist.

Natasha glares at Thor and Banner groans in despair.

Thor's eyes widen, realizing he said the wrong thing. "Uh, but, not the screams of the dead, of course. No no, uh...wounded screams, mainly whimpering, a great deal of complaining and tales of sprained deltoids and, and uh... and gout." Thor says, he quickly turns to shut himself up and get away from Nat's glare.

"Hey Banner, Dr. Cho's on her way in from Seoul, is it okay if she sets up in your lab?" Tony asks, looking away from the console, ignoring Sloan's presence altogether. Sloan sat at the copilot seat, munching on some trail mix.

"Uh, yeah, she knows her way around." Banner says "Thanks." To JARVIS. "Tell her to prep everything, Barton's gonna need the full treatment." Tony says

"Very good sir." Jarvis says "JARVIS, take the wheel." Tony says

Sloan snorts at the Jesus joke. Tony side eyes him, "Yes, sir. Approach vector is locked." Jarvis says

Once Jarvis had control, Tony whirled around in his seat, only for his knees to hit Sloan's legs, making him jump. "Jesus." Sloan grumbles, annoyed that he was startled. Tony offers him an amused smirk. "Scaredy cat." Tony teases, standing.

Sloan chuckles, rolling his eyes and going back to eating his trail mix.

Tony walks over to Thor, looking down at the scepter.

"It feels good, yeah? I mean, you've been after this thing since SHIELD collapsed. Not that I haven't enjoyed our little raiding parties, but..." Tony says

"No, but this...this brings it to a close." Thor says, he was relieved. Now he can put this stress to bed. "As soon as we find out what else this has been used for. I don't just mean weapons. Since when is Strucker capable of human enhancement?" Steve asks, he glances towards the twins, watching as they huddle together, whispering under their breaths. Unfortunately for them, almost half of them have superhuman hearing and one of them knew Sokovian.

"Banner and I'll give it the once over before it goes back to Asgard. Is that cool with you?" Tony asks, he wants to play with it for a bit.

Thor nods his head.

"I mean, just a few days until the farewell party. You're staying right?" Tony asks "Yes, yes, of course. A victory should be honored with revels." Thor says
