Klaus's POV:

I open the door to the bar and Lorelei walks in. She looks to the left to find Hayley and Freya. Hope and Elijah are spending time with Rebekah and Marcel for the next few days.

Elijah needed a break from the city and Hope wanted to spend time with her aunt.

"Hey, you." Hayley says giving Lorelei a smile

"You're up early." Freya tells her

Lorelei rolls her eyes at the both of them.

"Ha ha very funny." She says

"She's a bit grumpy. Still hungover from last night." I say

"Last night? What'd you do?" Hayley asks her

"Drinking game gone bad."

I get a bourbon and a water. I hand the water to Lorelei. She gives me a look and I shoot one back. I watch intently until she takes a few sips then focus back on the group.

"So how is Rebekah doing?" Freya asks Hayley

"She's good. Her and Marcel just got home a week ago from a trip to Europe."

Rebekah had been itching to get out of the city since the moment she returned. She wanted to get out into the world and now she has the chance to. As much as I miss her, I'm happy for her.

"Europe? What's there?" Lorelei asks

This was no surprise really. Lorelei grew up on the same mountain for a large majority of her life, cut off from the world until I came along. We'd done some traveling here and there but not as much as I'd like.

We all sit and chat about travels we've been on. Lorelei talks about living on the Appalachians which leads Hayley to speak up about her experiences there. They talk about trails they'd been on, sleeping arrangements and so on when they lived there.

Vincent Griffith, a member of the witch coven in New Orleans walks over to Freya. They've become good friends throughout the years.

"I need to talk to you." He says

His expression is serious.

Freya stops smiling.

They both take off out of the bar quickly.

"What was that about?" Hayley asks

Lorelei shrugs.

I'm not sure but I'm going to find out.
