Can is blindly walking into his office, trying to make some kind of sense of what just happened. His thoughts are interrupted halfway into his office by Sanem.
"Can," she says behind him, rushing in after him and he turns to her, all other thoughts immediately leaving.
He pulls her to him and wraps her tightly against him in his arms, closing his eyes and pressing his nose into her hair. Her arms are around him too, gripping his back. "My love," he whispers.
"Can," she breathes in his ear and it sounds like music to him, "I can't believe it," she shakes her head, "Aylin - "
"Don't say anything," he insists, holding her tighter. "Not about anyone but us. All I want to do is hug you."
Sanem closes her eyes. The weight of her part in this was heavy on her heart, crushing the relief she felt that he was back in her arms. But it was still stronger than that guilt. "I was so scared, Can."
"It's okay, I'm right here with you."
"I bet everyone's looking at us." She promised herself that she wouldn't be scared anymore to be with him - but they were at work, and they couldn't stand around like this all day.
Can glances up and checks. "Hm hm," he hums in confirmation. There were indeed a gallery of faces spying. "Okay," he sighs and then lets her go, stepping back. "Let's take care of our work then, hm? We have 24 hours of work to catch up on."
Sanem nods and then licks her dry lips. "Fabbri - " she starts but he closes his eyes and holds up his hand.
"Forget about Fabbri. The days where he could hurt us is over. He's out of our lives. And soon enough we'll be rid of Aylin too. Somehow." He frowns up at the door. "I don't trust her, so be careful around her okay?" She nods again. "Something's off, I can feel it." She keeps her face carefully composed. "I'm going to find out what it is. Sooner or later it will come out."
Sanem pulls her lips in and then inhales, nodding. "I'll go and continue working," she says. She couldn't bare looking at him knowing that he knew something was wrong and knowing that she was lying to him again. She leans up on the tips of her boots and kisses his cheek before she turns and leaves.

"You can't seriously expect me to believe this bullshit story," Emre scoffs, "I know you too well."
He was pacing the length of his desk while Aylin stood against the glass wall watching him.She shrugs with a little smirk. "Believe it or don't, it doesn't matter. It's the truth."
He laughs darkly and walks closer. "Aylin, Fabbri isn't the kind of person to just leave a business he has interests in behind. What did you threaten him with to get him to give you the shares? And how did you get him to withdraw the complaint?"
"Emre, my threats are spectacular and unexpected. You know that."
He looks away and walks back to his desk.
"All that matters is, in the end, I saved everyone and I am now a 20 percent shareholder. It's a win on both counts, I think we should focus on that. The war is over for me, I won already. Now all I want, is to do something for our company and I need your support."
"You listen to me," he warns, "I am done. I did everything you wanted. If you're waiting for me to support you on anything ever again, you're going to be waiting a long time Aylin." She lifts a brow. "Unless, you give me all the recordings of our meetings with Fabbri."
Aylin snorts. "Of course I'm not going to do that Emre," she pouts mockingly, "it's my Ace card. It keeps me in charge."
Emre narrows his eyes at her.
