"Assault, threats, insults to honour, damage to property, bodily harm? Did Can even do all of that?" Sanem asks, staring in shock at the lawyer.

"Yes. Unfortunately."

"Fabbri provoked Can!" she insists heatedly. "Is that being taken into consideration? Because I really think it should be."

"Sanem, calm down," Leyla stops her from stepping forward towards the lawyer. "Calm down."

"What is the situation as it stands?" Emre asks after looking at Sanem.

"It's serious, Mr Emre. The surveillance cameras were recording the incident. Therefore," the lawyer shrugs and shakes his head.

"Are you - Are you saying my brother could be charged?"

"It's too early to say without first looking at the footage in its entirety. And also, he has yet to testify in his own defence. What he says in that testimony is very important. Even though we want to hope for the best, we need to be ready for the worst."

"The worst?" Sanem asks and frowns. What's the worst?! "What does that mean? I have to see Can right now. I have to talk to him." Leyla puts her arm around Sanem to stop her again. "I know I can calm him down. And I can calm myself down. Can I go see him?"

"Since he hasn't given his statement it's difficult to say yes or no. I will take a look at the evidence and we'll talk again." He nods at them and then leaves down the hall.

"I'll walk a ways with you," Emre says and touches Sanem's arm.

"What did he mean by that?" Sanem asks Leyla as soon as they're alone. "I am not convinced everything is going to fine...If I can't see Can - " she swallows. "I have to see that he's fine with my own eyes and then some one other than this guy has to come and convince me that he will be fine after I've seen him. I - " She refused to believe that was it.

"Sanem, Sanem," Leyla turns her and she stops, "breathe."

Sanem stares at Leyla for a second and then she shakes her head. She looks to her right and then walks towards the official talking to one of the officers. "Excuse me!"

"Sanem, wait - "

"I want to talk to you, officer, please wait!"

-

Emre stands a few feet away and looks at Sanem running towards the officer. He takes a deep breath and then closes his eyes. "This is all because of me," he whispers.

Everything hits him at once where he stands and he takes his phone out with shaking fingers. He was to blame for all this mess and he the guilt clawed it's way up his body.

He dials Fabbri's number and waits, looking over his shoulder.

"Answer the phone Fabbri," Emre growls after three unanswered rings. He shakes his head and hangs up, scrolling to Aylin's name. "Damn it..."

-

Emre calling...

"Oh look, he's calling me now," Aylin chuckles, showing Fabbri her phone. She clears her throat and answers. "Hello."

"It's me."

"I know." Fabbri grins at her when she winks.

"I have to get hold of Fabbri, Aylin. Where is he?"

"You sound a bit strange, Emre, is everything alright?"

"My brother was just arrested jn front of me."

Aylin's eyes widen in mock shock. "What?" she gasps. "Why?"

"He tried getting Fabbri to sell the shares back and things got out of hand. He attacked Fabbri and Fabbri laid a complaint."
