"Mr McKinnon, we can explain everything," Deren hurriedly says as she tries to keep up with the man clutching an invitation in his hand.
"What can you explain?" he snaps angrily. "How Enzo Fabbri has released his perfume before us?! He stole the canpaign right from under our noses and now we're going to be delayed again!"
Can and Emre come out from the middle of the office after hearing his voice carry throughout and Deren swallows hard.
"The man even had the audacity to send me a goddamn invitation to his party!" McKinnon waves the same envelope Can received in the air. "This is humiliating!" he says and stops when he sees Can.
Can, feeling more than a little embarrassed, ducks his head in greeting. "Welcome Mr McKinnon."
"You got one too I'm assuming?"
"Yes I did," Can says and lowers his voice, glancing behind him at the eyes curiously watching. "If you will, please, follow me to my office and we can talk about this there."
"And what will we say?" McKinnon demands, not moving. "You are aware of the clauses in the contract we signed, aren't you?"
"Of course I am. And I am as upset as you are that I couldn't justify your trust in us. I've let you down, and it's all on me, but I can assure you, I'll do what I can to fix it." McKinnon shakes his head at Can's humble apology but doesn't shoot it down. "Can we please go to my office?"
"Fine," McKinnon growls and then walks ahead, with Can and Emre following.

Aylin quietly spun to and fro in the office chair in Fabbri's office, lazily watching him as he walked around to her side of his desk, looking at his watch.
"The waves must have hit by now," he says and she looks at him, stopping her spinning. "If I know McKinnon, and I do, he should be with Can as we speak."
"You've sent him an invitation too?"
"What do you think?" Fabbri grins.
"Oh dear," Aylin smirks. "You really are a mean one, Mr Fabbri."
He nods and bows his head in thanks. "Hm, McKinnon will never forgive such a huge mistake. It's not in his nature to give a lot of chances. Fikri Harika is in the firing line. And I'll be the one to pull the trigger on the final bullet myself." He nods to himself, thinking about that bullet hitting Can Divit. "Very soon I will release Sanem's perfume as well and it will be a knockout. Literally. Neither the world nor Can Divit are ready for another Nova Fiore production this season." He chuckles gleefully.
"And why didn't you release Sanem's perfume now?"
"It's definitely not because I didn't want to," Fabbri huffs, his grin turning into a frown of frustration. "The manufacturer didn't finish in time, and since I simply had to get something out before Redmod, I had no choice but to allow this unremarkabl and forgetful fragrance to be put out there."
Aylin shrugs. She agreed with him about its forgetful smell.
"I suppose I should thank the factory for not being ready."
"How so?"
"Because, since I have now fooled everyone, it will pack so much more of a punch when I do release the actual product, don't you agree?" She nods and he smirks, perking up again. "I'm not done with Can Divit. I will beat him down bit by bit until I'm satisfied he's can't get back up." He touches his nose and winks. "Everything has its time, Aylin."
"I agree wholeheartedly Mr Fabbri, and if I may say, I believe this plan of yours will work perfectly."
