With the rain pelting down, Sanem pushes open Can's front gate and walks into the courtyard, shutting it behind her and looking at the house for a moment before she continues forward.
Is he even here? Or awake? She wonders, closing her umbrella and putting it in the stand beside the door. Come on Sanem, just do it. She takes a deep breath and presses the bell, clearing her throat and pulling her coat around her more, glancing back.
The door opens and she turns back around, looking intently at Emre, who purses his lips and exhales quietly through his nose. "Sanem," he says, nodding in greeting.
"Mr Emre, can we talk for a minute?"
"Come on in," he stands aside and she steps in. His phone rings in his pocket as he follows Sanem down the hall to the living room. Can calling... He doesn't answer, instead locking the phone and looking at her again when she stops. "Yes, Sanem. I'm listening." He puts his phone back in his pocket. "What's wrong? Something happen at the office?"
"I know you're the one who took the snowglobe," Sanem says outright, staring him right in the eyes. There was no need or use for talking too long. She knew as soon as she saw him that she was right.
"What?" Emre asks, blinking in confusion. "What snowglobe?"
"The one that has the hidden camera in it. We found it in Mr Can's office when we came back from the camp, and he didn't like it in there, so he told Miss Deren to take it away. She put it in her office but now it's gone. We can't find it because someone took it."
"And? What's that got to do with me?"
"I saw you in Miss Deren's office yesterday, Mr Emre. You had something behind your back and I know it was the snowglobe, because right after that it mysteriously disappeared. You took it." She glares at him accusingly, his nonchalant reactions proving her point in spades.
"Sanem," Emre clenches his jaw, "what exactly are you accusing me of? What are you trying to say?"
She stares at him, as thunder rolls above the house. Her anger and disappointment in tandem with the weather. She scoffs darkly and shakes her head, not blinking.

Pulling up to the house, Can sighs and locks his phone. He's been trying to get a hold of Emre since leaving the office but all he got was missed calls.
The house seemed eerily quiet, even for a rainy day but he took it to mean that Emre was probably asleep. He gets out of the car after parking in his usual spot and walks up to the front door round the side of the house, playing with his keys.
As he is about to enter, his phone rings for the tenth time that afternoon alone and he stops to check it. "Yes?" he answers.
"Hey Can, how are you?"
"Good thanks. You?"
-
Sanem raises her chin to square with Emre. "I'm saying that you're still busy scheming behind your brother's back." Sanem takes a step towards Emre, staring him down. "I thought - no, I hoped - that you learned some kind of lesson from what you've been through but clearly, that hope is horribly misplaced. You haven't changed one bit."
"I'd stop interefering in things that's none of my business if I were you." He pushes past her to walk to the open living room door.
Oh no, you're not getting off that easy mister man. "Only it is my business. And the agency's," Sanem says, following. "How can you still be doing this and look into your brother's eyes after he just forgave you?"
