"There is nothing left of the Can I knew."

Can looks up at Polen after taking a huge bite of his salad.

"I can't wrap my head around how someone can change in such a short time."

He keeps eating, keeping his eyes down.

"The Can I left, disappeared and turned into a Can who's so miserable he can't see straight."

Can looks up again, and sticks his tongue into his teeth before taking another bite, looking back down. She was still trying to convince him to go away with her.

"Look, I'm saying this because I care. This change will be good. Plus, Jack is going to be there."

Can's eyebrows go up. "Jack?"

"Hm hm," Polen smiles, happy that he finally responded.

"Wow," Can nods and stabs a piece of steak. "You still talk to him then?"

"Of course I do. You're the only one who broke away from everyone."

A sudden clanging comes from the back and Can winces as he chews. Three guesses who that could be...

"Dinner time!" Sanem calls loudly, along with slamming her knife and fork on a plate. "Wow I'm so hungry after that whole thing huh? You mind if I take this? Thanks." She pulls out a chair from the next table and brings it over. "Phew," she chuckles as she sits down between Cam and Polen. "Is there anything good left?" Sanem looks at Can's plate then Polen's. "Can, I think I'll have some of yours."

Can takes his glass of juice away just in time as she grabs his plate and scrapes half into hers.

"Polen, is that chicken? I think I'll take some from you too." Sanem takes Polen's plate but scrapes less out. "I love avocado and chicken. I love mixing red and white meat too. Oh, don't worry, I didn't take a lot," she assures Polen and hands back the plate. "You need it more than I do..." She looks from one to the other, staring at her then pauses with her hand halfway to her mouth. "Sorry, I didn't mean to interrupt so rudely."

"You didn't. Polen was just talking about our friends from London."

"We have a whole seperate culture in our group. I can talk for hours about it, right Can?"

Can gives Sanem a sideglance as she nods at Polen and chews.

"I think our best - "

"Sorry, but can you pass the salt?"

"Here you go Sanem," Polen hands it over and Sanem goes to add it then stops and shaked her head.

"Nevermind, it's bad for your heart... If I may say something, don't be offended of course Polen, but there's nothing like your homeland is there?" She stabs a piece of lettuce and tomato and eats. "I don't like London much. The weather's so unpredictable. It's dull, grey and it rains all the time...whereas here," Sanem smiles with a happy sigh, not going on.

"Yes, but for Can it's different, am I right?" Polen chuckles knowingly. "Can loves the London weather."

"I prefer warm weather these days actually."

"Just like me!" Sanem beams.

"But there are places that I like where the weather is cold mostly but it's liveable, yes, like London."

"I know how special it is to you," Polen smiles and nods. Sanem turns back to Can. "I think we should do this Can." He looks up from his plate then returns ro his food. "It will be fun right? Just like old times. Just you and me."

Sanem picks up the lemon juice in the middle of the table and holds it up. "Did you add lemon to your salad?"

"No, Sanem, I - Stop, I don't want..." It was too late, Sanem had already poured. "Lemon," Polen finishes annoyedly.
